Sierra Vista 2 Ubud

The check-in process was perfect—the hosts were very accommodating and let us drop off our luggage early since we had activities planned for the afternoon. The villa is magnificent, with private bedrooms and a breathtaking, unobstructed view of the rice fields. The floating breakfast was also a wonderful experience shared with my friends and carefully prepared by the villa staff. I definitely recommend it for a stay near Ubud, whether with family or friends. The place is very quiet, yet there are some nice restaurants within walking distance.

La villa est majestueuse, propre et tout confort. C’était au-delà de nos espérances. Le personnel est discret, adorable et vraiment aux petits soins. Le déjeuner est excellent et parfaitement adapté à nos envies. Un vrai coup de cœur ❤️😍

Magnifique logement spacieux avec très belle vue sur les rizières. Il faut savoir que les chambres sont indépendantes avec un accès à la pièce principale en passant par l’extérieur. La piscine est très spacieuse.

Petit quiproquo, par message on nous avait annoncé que le petit déjeuner était compris mais malheureusement à notre arrivée nous avons appris que ce n’était pas le cas.

Here’s a polished review that still feels honest and fair: This is a tough review to write because unfortunately this stay left us feeling a little disappointed. Things got off to a rocky start when, three days before our arrival, the property attempted to cancel our booking despite us having booked more than six months in advance and paid in full. Thankfully it was resolved, but it definitely left a sour taste before we had even arrived. The villa itself was nice enough, but we’ve stayed in other villas in Bali that offered much more for a lower price. The location was probably the biggest downside for us. It’s around a 20-minute scooter ride into central Ubud (or close to a two-hour walk), so unless you’re comfortable riding a scooter, getting around can be quite inconvenient. Breakfast was fairly limited, with only four options available, and while the staff were friendly, we personally weren’t fans of having the villa serviced while we were still relaxing inside. There is one lovely nearby restaurant attached to another accommodation, which was a highlight, but overall we found ourselves feeling quite isolated from everything Ubud has to offer. We considered moving elsewhere during our stay, but having already paid in full, it was difficult to justify losing that money and paying for accommodation again. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but it didn’t live up to the hype for us. The villa was nice, but for the price and location, we expected more and unfortunately wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
