Very nice place to stay!

Beautiful garden and superb pool!!! Everything was clean and well maintained. Had dinner ir restaurant - delicious. Very friendly stuff. We had to leave early, before breakfast time and they made us breakfest anyway. Thank you for that!

The hotel ia in a great location, although distant from main shops.

No restaurant or food is made in the hotel. When food arrives from wherever they bring it is not very hot and no options to order more or have anything else.

Perfect place to relax and unwind 😍

My husband and I have traveled in different countries in the past, and we can confidently say that Pangkung Carik is one of the best! Mr. Dewa and his team were very accommodating even before we arrived in the villa. Our trip to Bali was my husband and I’s advanced wedding anniversary, and I mentioned this to Sir Dewa. To our surprise, they prepared a wonderful greeting on our bed! We were so touched by that. All of them were extremely helpful, and we couldn’t be any more grateful. On our last day, they served us our pre-ordered breakfast, and again, to our surprise, they added a dish that we didn’t order! It was sooo delicious! Additionally, Sir Dewa gave us traditional Balinese bracelets, which, again, we appreciated a lot. As for the villa in general, it truly exceeded our expectations. It was the best place to kick off our Bali trip! The place was beautiful and peaceful. If we ever go back to Bali, we surely will stay in Pangkung Carik again! Thank you so much for the superb service, Sir Dewa, Sir Denuk, and the rest of your staff!

The room can be improved by fixing the cabinets, adding hand and face towels, and placing a longer shower curtain in the bathroom.

Calm villas near Ubud and waterfalls

The staff organised dinner for us even in heavy rain, it was impressive. The villa was spacious, had a separate kitchen, big bed and was clean. The location in perfect- close to the center of Ubud but not close enough to be full of people. Two amazing waterfalls are in foot walk range and some nice warungs as well. The pool was clean and the surroundings beautiful.

Great place to stay in a calm and serine environment with not have to worry about food especially if you are not looking out for different options as their is in house restaurant that they get their food from which taste great

Beautiful stay for a peaceful retreat

A stunning accommodation surrounded by lush tropical trees and plants, creating a serene atmosphere reminiscent of Ubud. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it’s the perfect peaceful retreat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast and massage services are also available for an additional fee. Overall, a wonderful experience — I’d definitely return!

While there were occasional sightings of wild animals, that’s to be expected in such a natural setting. The menu had limited options, but it was still satisfactory.

Worst service

Pros: ambiance of property was maintained well and staffs were humble. Cons: (so many) - air conditioning is worst, can’t stay in property during day time. We were sweating all day in room. - position of air conditioner was far away from bed. Room don’t get proper chillness even during night times. Only after 2am based on outside weather room gets chilled. - when we compliant about unsatisfactory stay in their property, the property manager at specific moment started talking about karma. - they kept trap for lizards in kitchen and on the day 1 we saw a lizard got trapped in it and informed at service desk to clean it up, but for two days they didn’t even attend to clean up. - they add so much oil to the food they serve

Nice place in Ubud area

It was well maintained, nice pool, small and cute resort. The resort is only a 15/20 minute scooter ride to the center of Ubud which was nice, because it was not so busy around the resort. The staff were really kind people.

Our warm water wasn’t working for three days and on one night we had no water at all. We couldn’t take a warm shower one day, and needed to use other rooms on two other days. That was quite annoying. And we had a lot of ants in our room, some were even on the bed which was also annoying.

The breakfast was Delicious!! I had the same thing almost every morning. Balinese breakfast, Nasi Goreng =). This Villa location is Amazing! Only a 3-minute walk to "Sumampan Waterfall." This Villa is peaceful, quiet and so serene. (You may hear the occasional frog and rooster every now and again, but that's nature =) If you are looking for a place to get away, reset, and be in nature this is your place. I traveled there as a solo female traveler, and I felt safe comfortable and peaceful all 6 nights, March 24- 30, 2024. All the staff is Wonderful! Extremely accommodating and kind. In particular, staff members “Made Jadul and Putu Aris” made my stay so enjoyable. They are always so incredibly kind and helpful, and their English is perfect =). I really needed this getaway. I am So happy I chose this location and can't wait to go back. =)

Its a beautiful spacious and well maintained property with wonderful & lovely staff.

The overall stay was okay but the property can improve on: 1.Having a phone in the room to easily contact reception for assistance.My partner had to walk every time to the reception to make an inquiry. 2.Change mattress as its not quite comfortable 3.The rooster in the morning goes on and it gets annoying.Move it elsewhere maybe 4.Have slippers in the room so that outside shoes aren’t worn inside the room 5.Put face towels in the bathroom for hygienic purposes 6.Put black out curtains so people who choose to sleep in can do that.

Relaxing

We stayed here for ten nights. The villa is nice, has AC, comfortable bed, a small kitchen and a very nice terrace surrounded by lots of plants. We had the option to take the breakfast on the terrace which was very convenient. You can choose between several types of breakfast, I tried all of them and I liked all of them. You can also order lunch/dinner 1h ahead, which were also good. The Sumampan waterfall is a nice waterfall located at walking distance from the villas. There are also lots of nice restaurants in the surroundings, like 5-10 minutes by scooter. There's also a very nice pool, which was most of the time empty and was my favorite from this location. The garden is also large, beautiful and well maintained. The place is very relaxing so was exactly what we needed. The personal was always nice and polite and they cleaned the room daily.

They don't have food options and the breakfast was really disgusting, not including coffee. You find them under family recommended on booking but they don't provide baby crib for free !

Great Villa, peacfull

The place was great , staff were friendly and helpful. The best garden and pool area with a beautiful statues and plants. It's just take 15 minute way from Ubud and there's one of wonderful waterfall just take 5 minute by walk. Its really one of amazing villa that make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. I got what I wanted: escaped from my busy life and restored my energy there.

I fell in love with this place the moment I saw it. It’s like a piece of paradise hidden from the people’s eye and perfectly located in a peaceful corner in Ubud outskirts. It’s totally new, so it was a big bonus to be one of the first guests who could enjoy its comfort and hospitality. The house itself is very clean and cozy with all the required things to make ourselves at home: small kitchen equipped with a fridge, a kettle and some basic utensils, big TV, AC, spacious bathroom. I definitely like the territory where everyone can find both privacy and place for time with a company. Yoga lovers , just like me, will appreciate a nice garden with lots of greenery and a space for yoga practice in the morning. It’s just 15 min way from Ubud centre so you can either take a comfortable bike ride to the city centre or stay at the villa and enjoy lunch or dinner there. One of the most splendid waterfalls is located nearby - you can take just five minutes’ walk and reach one of the most beautiful places in Ubud surroundings. I recommend this place and I will gladly come back there myself next time. My big gratitude to the owner and the staff for making my stay there memorable.

It’s hard to find any disadvantages. Just to list at least anything I’d mention the local instrumental music , which I actually like, but sometimes it was a bit noisy and out of place for me, so I ask to switch it off from time to time and my demands were totally met. So, no complaints )

Unforgottable stay in Ubud!

What a great stay! This villa is absolutely perfect for anyone would like to honeymoon, need healing space. A huge garden and area, I saw beautiful sunset in the evening from the room. Staff was very helpful and help us to organize everything. Highly reccomended for couple or family trip, And very close to Waterfall just by walk🥰

4 Nächte Aufenthalt

Die Poolanlage war sehr schön. Auch wenn man die Abgeschiedenheit mag ist es toll. In der Nähe hat es 2 Restaurants, welche gut waren & einen Wasserfall, den man kostenpflichtig ansehen kann.

Der WC-Ring ist auf der Schüssel hin und her gerutscht. Auf dem Duschkopf war zur Hälfte Moos und man hat maximal 5 Minuten warm Wasser gehabt. Zusätzlich ist die Villa ja aus Holz, was wir an sich schön fanden, jedoch hat es den Nachteil, dass wir von aussen komplett alles höreb konnten. Bis zur nächsten Stadt geht es ein Stückchen mit dem Auto.
