Lovely accommodation in the rice fields

We had a really lovely stay and felt comfortable from the very first moment. The location is absolutely beautiful – a bit outside of the center, which we knew beforehand and actually loved, as it made the stay very peaceful and special. Everything was very clean and well taken care of, and the accommodation had everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly kind, helpful and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, we were fully satisfied and had wonderful sunsets from our terrace. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful stay.

Lovely stay and very beautiful villas

I was stay here with my family for total 5 rooms, the rooms are very clean, friendly and very helpful staff, the location is very very good, quite but only 5 minutes from high way so its easy to find grocery store and restaurants, overall we have a lovely stay and this is more than I expected.

Very comfortable if you are after a peaceful holiday away from the busyness of the city.

Comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice view. Close to lots of nice waterfalls and activities. Quiet Can order food in. Electricity works but shower wasn’t hot, this didn’t matter as it was too hot anyway for a hot shower.

It is out of the way and you would want your own transport or need to use a Grab taxi to go anywhere or get food. We liked being in the quiet location though. One basic order in menu.

We had an amazing stay at Pyramid River Villas in Ubud. The staff is absolutely outstanding – friendly, helpful, and always with a smile. It might not have the over-the-top facilities of luxury resorts, but the beautiful, peaceful surroundings and the personal service more than make up for it. You truly feel welcome here. On top of that, the value for money is excellent. You get far more warmth and authentic experience than at many expensive resorts, and for just a fraction of the price. Highly recommended for anyone who values authenticity and hospitality over unnecessary frills.

The Villa is a great place to stay. The villa has beautiful views of the river and the pool is lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Wifi is super duper great and fast for remote working. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing. We extended our stay because we didn't want to leave. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Ubud.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY FOR 1 or 2 NIGHTS

The property was very nice and clean the staff were very nice and helpful . There was good communication from the owner which is rare normally . Nice little cafe inside the complex

Only things that make the stay not so good was the building construction noise from 8am , this obviously has no impact on the quality of the villa but it was a little frustrating at times .

The yellow motorbike we rented there was a bit torque (more than any other motorbikes we've rented in Asia) so it was a bit dangerous to use. Also given the name we expected it to overlook the river, there was no river view.

Stunning views

This property is located in the jungle away from the hustle and bustle of central ubud, I hired a moped through the property which made getting around easy and convenient! Absolutely stunning views from every room and the pool, staff always at reception ready to take care of your every need! Beautiful star light shower, be ready to meet many little jungle friends 🦎, Agus the owner of the property is so warm and welcoming and always here to help if you need anything! Great value for money, ideal for a solo or a couple travelling :)

Favorite place for us! Our stay was perfect. The place is very peaceful and everybody was so welcoming with us. We left Pyramid Ubud River with a such great opinion of it and if we come back to Ubud we’ll book this place again with pleasure. Sampai jumpa ! Terima Kasih ! ☀️

The only recommendations I can make is maybe add some cold drinks with the breakfast and some snack because the place is a little bit far from the shops. But that’s the only little things I can relate!

The rooms where made up every day. However for a week long stay our towels didn't get changed at all even when left on the floor (They just hanged them back up). The bed sheets should at least be changed once which did not happen.

Nice and quite stay😊

The shape of the bungalow is pretty cool! My shower was outside and I liked it with the sun was soo good, but you have to calculate the incovenience as is outside we found poo of mice the morning later. Air conditioning was working so good. Pool was adorable and the location a bit hidden from the traffic so nice 😊

Breakfast wasn’t really special, butter was expired but still not too bad. Maybe a little land were to chill down or doing yoga was good but we didn’t found any free grass or place in the area of the property.

This was a charming romantic property . For a short stay …My villa was adorable … the pool is the saving grace. I saw the most beautiful sunsets from there. The staff are lovely, and would love to help you … they do their best but the language barrier is just to great. So be prepared. To be on your own …When I arrived I had a beautiful view… but that was changing as I was leaving … I was there 32 days.

The name is missing leading, it is 25/20 mins south east of UBUD. In a new subdivision, a long ways off the main road. Transportation options, if you ride a scooter you are golden you can rent from them .. otherwise get a driver, & GoJek.. The area is exploding with new construction all around the property & including the property as they are expanding. I loved my villa, but it got way too hot during the day & the air con just could not keep up. It doesn’t help that it had gaps in the construction… I had a couple cute gecko 🦎 living with me ! I loved my out door shower .. however the shower head need to be replaced along the moldy shower curtain. There isn’t a true kitchen on the property. They make a omelette or pancake for breakfast with fruit toast.. but that’s done on hot plate .. so GRAB or GoJek are your options for food . Each villa would benefit from a small refrigerator…

Looks better in photos! It’s cheap and has potential but keep low expectations!

The peace and quiet from the location was great. The AC in room 14 worked well (after moving from room 13). The pool was beautiful over looking the rice fields. The space in the bathroom was also appreciated. Agus is very easily reachable and accommodating, and helpful if he can.

First we had to ask to move because the AC wasn’t working but only because I suggested it. There is no privacy when it comes to the noise from the other rooms, you can hear absolutely everything! There was a bad smell coming out of the bathroom so strong that we had Palo Santo and incense burning to cover it up. The shampoo/shower holders were broken and leaked on the floor, when I mentioned it, no one has replaced/refill (a good thing I travel with my own). The breakfast was very limited (a very flat, like a crepe, omelette, 5 pieces of papaya and watermelon and 1 cup of tea) most of the time we had breakfast in ubud centre rather than there. Then the last thing I’d rented an Nmax for 150k/day (which is more than anywhere I stayed before in Bali, I live in Jakarta so I come to Bali quite a lot), the bike was old and ended breaking on us on our last day 10km from the accommodation. I think the bike should be checked or replaced, it’s absolutely not worth 150k/day.

Clean and comfortable with great staff, but a bit isolated

Atmosphere/ambience in general is really nice. Staff is extremely kind, helpful and approachable. It is possible to rent motorbikes which is a must-have if you are looking to stay in this place (because of being remote). It is very close to Monkey forest and a few nice waterfalls and in a fair distance to mount Batur area and lake.

I can't say that I didn't like. I liked it very much, I can only mention about a few minor improvement points: 1) Trying a few times from different phones, I couldn't reach to anyone from the villas when I landed at 7pm to Denpasar Airport. I travelled more than one hour with a taxi and was worried if there will be anyone to meet me. But there is people to welcome you so don't worry! 2) You definitely need a driver organised for you in advance if you don't want to be ripped off by the airport taxi drivers! It can be significantly cheaper. 3) Definitely book your motorbike in advance since this place is little remote and make sure you are going to have a good helmet. 4) If you are staying longer than a few days, you may look for some variety in breakfast.

Great view in the jungle and excellent staff!

Exceptional staff that wants you to feel comfortable and are at your service whatever the concern is. They make you feel like family. I stayed for 11 nights and loved the place. Made was really great, he drives motorbike taxi safely and is a great guide for tourist attractions. He also makes delicious breakfast! The pool is clean and I loved the depth of it (it has different levels). I also loved the shower which had an open ceiling towards the sky. You can order food in the lobby and they will bring it to you. The place is new, it’s only 6-7 months old and they’re still building the last bungalows so there was some noise on and off.

Remember to bring earplugs since the bungalows are not soundproof. There was a mouse in my room which kept me awake some of the nights (the owner tried to catch it).

Everything about this place was perfection. The quiet location, the pool, the shower, the breakfast included. Agus, the owner of this place was very accommodating and very helpful! He suggested that I visit Nusa Penida and so I did! If you’re looking a for a quiet, relaxing, beautiful place for great value this is it! I also have to mention that Made (staff member) was always making sure that I was comfortable, he also drove me to places since I didn’t rent a bike while I was there, but you can definitely rent one and they will also help you with any activities that you want to do. Enjoy the serenity

Staying here was not just somewhere to stay it was an experience. Little A frame villas that where amazing nestled in hills of ubud. There is no tv or fridge in room but no need sitting on your own private balcony listening to the wildlife while enjoying you favourite cold beverage a++++++ service and you can even hire motor bike or tours the pool is amazing it’s small but there are only 3 villas so there is plenty of room I cannot recommend enough.

Valt niks tegen. Maar houd er rekening mee dat het afgelegen ligt. Deze info wordt ook gegeven, maar mocht je denken dat het meevalt. Daar krijg je wel dit mooie uitzicht voor. Personeel is ook bereid te helpen met vervoer.

Hübsch und abgelegen

Die Lage war zwar sehr ruhig, aber so abgelegen, dass immer ein Taxi benötigt wurde und bis Ubud Zentrum mind. 30 min. Fahrzeit anfielen - daher war für uns die Bewertung "sehr gute Lage" irreführend.
