Everything.
Couldn't find fault in anything......which is rare for me!
There was nothing I didn't like about Kailash Bali..... It deserves a higher rating than 3*.(in my humble opinion)

The garden and pool are truly beautiful, definitely a highlight of the hotel
There was a constant, unbearable musty/damp smell in the room, so strong it seeped into our clothes.
The bathroom was a nightmare: bad smell, mold everywhere, no ventilation, and clearly not properly cleaned.
Breakfast was also disappointing, well below expectations.
As for location, the hotel is quite isolated, far from the buzz of Ubud, which might appeal to some for the quiet, but it makes getting to restaurants a hassle since there are very few options nearby. On the plus side, the hotel offers scooter rentals on-site, which does make getting around easier.
