The location was great and the whole house was very clean and charming. We stayed with 4 adults and 1 child and had room to spare. Secure bike storage was a plus, as we were touring the Loire by bicycle. The hosts were very welcoming, helpful, friendly, and communicative. The pictures don’t do it justice: it’s a magical spot that has an old world feel with modern comforts. Would gladly recommend it to friends.
We had no problems during our stay. Anyone with mobility challenges should be aware that there are no bathrooms or bedrooms on the ground floor. Villandry is a small town, so don’t expect a lot of options for dining or shopping. We have no complaints!
