Appartamentino pulito e silenzioso nel cuore di un quartiere a due passi dal centro. Arredato molto bene in modo moderno e confortevole. Molto comodo soprattutto per soggiorni brevi.

It was very clean and bright--after we figured out how to open the shades covering the skylights. Great location, we walked just about everywhere. The kitchen appeared to be fully functional, though we didn't use it. Bathroom facilities were clean, well-stocked, and functioned well.

This is what made reviewing this property difficult. First, though it was clean, it was stinky--the garbage can had been emptied, but it badly needed to be washed out. We never threw away any organic matter, yet we could still smell garbage every time we opened the door to enter the room. Second, there was a sign on the table that provided instructions for checkout, but it didn't provide practical instructions that would have been helpful--such as how to pull back the blackout shades covering the skylights (the only source of light for the room). We spent our first two days completely unable to gauge the weather before venturing outside, so we had to rely on weather apps to tell us how to dress. One day, we wore raincoats when the sun was shining. This wouldn't be a huge deal if we could have just run back inside and put the coats away, but that leads to the third issue... The listing notes that the room is on the third floor with no elevator. So you could argue this issue is largely on me. But before you book, keep in mind that in France, the ground floor is floor zero. Floor 1 is one flight up. So the American translation is the 4th floor. And those staircases are LONG. Using the staircases in my house as typical, a 4-four climb in the US would average 55-60 steps. This climb was 71 winding steps. So if you're not fit, this is NOT for you. (So it's odd that the listing on airbnb notes the availability of a disabled parking spot.) So overall, this property is perfectly adequate as long as you are fully informed of the quirks before you book.
