Suite Santa Croce

Spacious, three-bedroom apartment with separate living / dining room and kitchen about a 15-20 minute walk from the Duomo. There are multiple cafes (with lovely pastries), restaurants and supermarkets within a short walk that are frequented by more locals than tourists. A small balcony at the rear of the apartment off the kitchen is a lovely place to relax at the end of a hot day. All rooms have window shutters so you can have privacy while still allowing fresh air to circulate. Bathroom was clean and in excellent condition, though the shower is a little tight. A couple of small bars operate on the street outside the apartment in the evening - the noise may annoy you if are a light sleeper, but we had no trouble sleeping after a busy day and a good meal.

It wasn’t a big problem for us but it’s quite noisy in the evening because of many small restaurants and bars just under windows. So, bear in mind if it’s important for you

Great amount of space and very central location. You are walking distance to everything. The apartment has a good amount of space and a nice little patio area.

There was a last minute miscommunication with host about luggage drop off. We had to wait outside 45 mins with our luggage in 110 degree heat. There is no A/C and the way the house is set up doesn’t allow for natural air circulation. This should not be a problem normally but we were there during the summer. The floors were very dirty even after cleaners had just left. Trash was left under the beds. The apt overall is just very dusty and doesn’t look like it’s been maintained. Walking out after showering your feet are covered in dust.

Poco preparado para los días de calor. Ventiladores en las habitaciones pero más ruidosos que el ruido de las juergas de la calle. Falta aire acondicionado.
