Beautiful New Forest Hideaway

Exceptionally clean , beautifully furnished with great amenities. Access to new forest is superb - the property is only surrounded by the noise of wildlife - mostly bird song - which makes it so relaxing and peaceful. And there a nice pub just five minutes walk away in the village.

Beautifully decorated and very cosy cottage. Every detail for guests’ comfort is taken into account. Good location with a lovely pub and a park in the walking distance. We would have loved to stay longer if we could.

We received a very warm welcome from the host on arrival and felt at home straight away. She was exceptionally friendly. The accommodation is a charming self-contained annex next to the main house. The entrance, set beneath a beautiful mature tree, creates a lovely first impression. Outside, there is a delightful seating area with a small garden table and a variety of chairs and seating options, perfect for relaxing. The windows overlook a beautifully landscaped garden, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Although compact, the interior is wonderfully cosy and thoughtfully designed. The living area and kitchenette are on the ground floor, while the bathroom and sleeping area are upstairs. The accommodation has been decorated with great care and attention to detail, featuring beautiful botanical and butterfly illustrations that give it a unique character. Despite its modest size, it was better equipped than many much larger places we have stayed in. We particularly loved the cleverly designed kitchenette, which folds away into what looks like a cupboard and contains everything needed for a comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

Kingston lodge was very clean, Lana was a great host, she had honestly thought of everything. There is a nice pub less than 5 mins walk down the road and beautiful walks on the doorstep.

The only thing we probably would have liked is a small fence across the outside area, so we could let our dog lay outside.
