Booking this beautiful cottage hideaway was the perfect decision. It’s a peaceful, immaculately kept, and well-stocked retreat, complete with generous parking, a shaded private garden, comfortable outdoor furniture, and a top-notch Ninja BBQ. We loved being able to walk straight into The New Forest and visit the local pub. A sunset swim at Lepe Beach was the perfect way to cool off. The bed was super comfortable, with high-quality pure cotton bedding that ensured a restful night’s sleep. On our request Lana baked us organic sourdough seeded bread and provided local free-range eggs and fresh farm milk for breakfast — a truly unique touch. Without a doubt, this is a place we’ll be returning to!

Great getaway for a couple with a dog

Great hideaway from all the busy noise. We loved the peaceful, beautifuly decorated house, comfy bed, walks for the dog behind the pub, which serves great food and is just three minutes away from the house.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the beautiful cottage

The property was extremely well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. Very clean, fab location for walks and exploring. 5 minute walk from a lovely pub restaurant. Lana the host was very informative and friendly and was always contactable if needed.

A perfect comfortable stay in the new forest with all the home comforts.

Everything! Perfect comfortable accommodation. Quiet and secluded. Close to open common to see the new forest ponies. Friendly helpful host. Excellent quality interior. Decorated very tastefully. The host had thought of everything we might use or need. Great facilities.Easy parking. A hidden gem. Looking forward to our next visit.

Peaceful, comfortable and replenishing in a gorgeous little cottage in a very quiet location

Beautifully furnished and decorated and well-equipped. There was a sense of serenity in this quiet location. It was so quiet and a minutes walk from land where ponies and donkeys roamed free and where we could walk our dog. Our host was warm and friendly and supportive. Such a nourishing and replenishing time we had there. Also, a minute’s walk down the road was the very pleasant Rockingham Pub which served good beer and had an excellent menu

just charming

This cottage was adorable.It had everything needed for a comfortable stay.The cottage was very well maintained ,pristine and immaculate.Its location was easy to find with sat nav and what 3 words.It is situated in easy reach by car to many places of interest to visit . It is a 3 min walk to the common and a local pub down the lane.Stone henge and Beaulieu approx half an hours drive away for example.The accommodation was lovely with added touches like fragrant candles to add ambience. The outside space was inviting to include a bbq and throws and cushions to bring the inside out.All in all this property was just charming .Quiet for the evenings just chilling in the outside space or watching TV. The hosts have thought of everything needed even down to an umbrella by the door. It was just lovely.
