Lovely, quirky, clean little converted barn in quiet location. Perfect for a family of 4 and a dog! Couldn’t fault the cottage or owners, just wished we could have walked a few more places.

Lovely immediate location of the cottage but straight down the track is the main road with no pathways to walk with kids/dogs which is a shame. Otherwise absolutely lovely (jump in the car and plenty nearby!) My only reason for giving a 9/10!!

Disappointing, unfortunately.

I liked the location and the set up of the cottage with bunk beds.

When we arrived the beds were dirty and not made. There were dirty towels on the floor. It was later confirmed by the host that the place had not been cleaned because his housekeeper was on holiday. We were offered first night refund in cash but we never received it. Very disappointing. Also we arrived at 16.10 and the clean sheets were not bought to us until after 19:00. The host was very apologetic but It really made me sad that we had arrived to an unclean place to stay and that it took 5 phone calls and 3 hours to contact the host who promised a refund and did not give it. But atleast he did bring us clean towels and sheets and we were able to make the beds ourselves and atleast they were clean for our stay. I was able to clean the kitchen and toilet myself but again very inconvenient when you have paid so much money already for a stress free trip.

Our regular place to stay fr the new forest

This was our third time staying at Bramble cottage. It’s perfect for our family of four. It is not a full kitchen but know what to expect and make it work well. We cannot fault the property or the location. Caroline is a fantastic host and is ever so helpful. We look forward to another visit this year!

Beautiful little cottage not far from the new forest, so central to everything, we went to paultons park which is only ten minutes up the road. Lovely family place for a get away.

Very charming, relaxed and unfussy characterful barn with an eclectic, cobbled together cosiness.

The beds could have been a tiny bit comfier and lack of a proper oven meant food prep was limited.

Very enjoyable area with a lot to do.

Location is very good

Tired furniture and very strange colour scheme. Purple, 2 different greens, blue, white etc. The cottage was cold when we arrived and there was some problem to sort out the heating. The shower was too hot to have a shower.

Cute cottage on the edge of New Forest

Great location, let us use the garden area of the farmhouse. They had chickens and ducks. Very colorful area, hosts were amazing! Bathroom was nice and had hot water. Kindly gave us eggs for breakfast that the chickens laid. Gave us lounging chairs to sit outside in the garden with. Great location. Gave us access to their netflix had wifi. Would stay again!

TV too small and would have liked to see an oven in the place. Lighting was a bit low.

brilliant stay and will visit again!

The hosts were lovely so friendly and made us feel really welcome. we have a 2 year old and he loved seeing the donkeys and chickens! The cottage was really clean and had everything in there that we could need. It was perfect location as we went to Paultons Park and it was only 15 minutes from there. loads of pubs and restaurants nearby so we had plenty of choice for dinners! will definitely visit again!
