Comfortable bed, and fairly well equipped.
Shower space was restricted and shower pressure poor.
Lower floor/ kitchen area smelted damp but appreciate old building can be like that.
Garden not as depicted in photos, outbuilding looked like it needed repair and garden not as welcoming as photos. Did feel like a retreat!

Lovely homely, spacious house with lots of character and private garden. Peaceful, pleasant village location with handy shop nearby. Not far from sandy beaches and vibrant seaside towns of Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate. Thoughtful touches such as tray of breakfast things, books and games. Our 9 year old loved having her own 'study' for drawing and writing stories. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!
A bottle of bubble bath would have been good to fully enjoy the bath-with-feet :) Quite difficult to see the black stairs in dim light, so we made sure we always put the light on to go up or down. Can't think of anything else!

Provided our own. Very quiet location. The house was beautifully furnished but a little too perfect for a casual holiday.woukd
Shower difficult to regulate the temperature and kept going very hot to cold. I ended up using the shower head over the bath. My husband managed it better than me.the main ceiling light and one bedside light in Front bedroom weren't working. The stairs were a challenge for people in their 70's. I don't think it mentioned there were so many. The duvet was a bit warm for the Summer temperatures but luckily I took a sheet to cover myself instead.
