Step inside the large Victorian entrance door and go up one flight of stairs. Take a moment to slip off your shoes on the rack outside before entering the apartment. The first thing you’ll notice is the space: huge bay windows overlooking Dalby Square, high ceilings, and plenty of natural light make the living area feel open and inviting.
The main room is a social hub, with an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area where you can cook together, enjoy a meal, or simply relax with a drink while soaking up the view of the square. The décor is simple and stylish, pared-back, letting the apartment feel fresh and easy-going without losing any charm.
There are two comfortable double bedrooms, both thoughtfully arranged with space to hang your clothes and unwind after a day exploring. The bathroom is sleek and modern, with a walk-in shower and instant hot water, keeping everything simple and fuss-free.
Outside, Dalby Square gives the flat a grand Victorian backdrop, while the sea is just a few minutes’ walk away. You’re also a short stroll from Margate’s buzzing Old Town, full of antique shops, independent stores, cafés, bars & restaurants. Cliftonville is a charming, up-and-coming area just a short stroll from central Margate. It has a mix of period architecture, independent cafés, quirky shops, and colourful streets that are perfect for exploring on foot. With its proximity to the beach and Margate’s town centre, it’s a favourite spot for people looking for a quieter base that’s still close to the action.
Margate itself is a lively seaside town with a mix of old-world charm and modern cool. The long sandy beaches and iconic Dreamland make it a classic British seaside destination, while the rejuvenated Old Town is packed with independent galleries, vintage shops, cafés, and restaurants. Margate has a strong arts and culture scene, including the Turner Contemporary gallery, and plenty of activities for all ages — from casual strolls along the promenade to seaside fun in the arcades and indoor crazy golf. Just across the Square from the apartment is an indoor ten pin bowling alley - fabulous fun on a wet day!

The parking on Dalby Square is free and you can usually find a space.
There is a bus service on Northdown Road, which you can hop on and travel straight into Margate in 5 minutes.
The train station is approx 30 minutes walk along the seafront promenade. The are plentiful taxis so you could just jump in a taxi, which will bring you to Dalby Square within 5-7 minutes.

Please take off your shoes & place on the the shoe racks outside the apartment`s door. The carpets are cream and we request that you don`t wear indoor shoes in the apartment.
