Apartment 001 - Dublin City Centre Sleeps 3

Localização excelente, apartamento bem espaçoso, estacionamento fácil e grátis na própria rua. Boa cozinha. Camas também eram boas, Tem dois banheiros bons, embora tenhamos tido problemas coma água quente em um deles. Acesso ao apartamento muito fácil. Boa geladeira. Os dois quartos são grandes e ficam separados, o que permite privacidade. Uma boa mesa de trabalho em cada quarto. O anfitrião respondia rapidamente às mensagens.

Persiana de um dos quartos estava quebrada, era possível abaixá-la mas não vedar a entrada da luz do sol no quarto, de manhã cedo. Os travesseiros eram ruins e os dois sofás da sala muito desconfortáveis, uma estrutura de lona e ferro, sem almofadas. Não tem televisão no apartamento. O forno estava com os fios internos expostos e preferimos nem usar para não correr risco.

Neighborhood was a bit rough, but never felt unsafe. Some night time noises and sirens, but nothing out of the norm for an 'urban' location. Proximity to trains and transit was good, as was location of grocery stores and a few "non-touristy" pubs/restaurants. 3 beds was key for us, and one being in a different room was what we wanted. 2 bathrooms with shower capability was great. Towels and bedding were good and worked well. Space was laid-out well and overall was comfortable. Kitchen had the main equipment needed (but some oven setting did not work). 'Private' entrance was a bonus. Laundry was on-site (no in room), but easy to use and the equipment worked well. Host was very responsive and addressed most of our requests in a timely manner. Early bag drop-off was also appreciated, and their update on a slightly earlier check-in was nice (our plane landed 7:30am).

Kitchen tools were lacking and condition of post/pans was poor. We found a way to make it work, but it was a pain to have to scrape the 'non-stick' pans after every use since the coating was gone/damaged. A few simple additional items would make a HUGE difference (a sharp knife or two, pans with functional coatings, kitchen tools to work with non-stick pans, colander/strainer for pasta, dish liquid to hand-wash items, silverware tray that fit into a drawer would help free-up counter space, extra (and stronger) garbage bags. Water pressure and temp control took a bit to manage as the valves were either plumbed backwards or worn so badly that they were hard to operate (one popped off during use which created quite a challenge in the bathroom). Carpet appeared dirty and stained, though vacuumed. Water stains on base-molding and smell in the kitchen seemed to indicate some leaks in the past. Not terrible but noticeable. A few simple instructions for oven/stove and garbage/recycling would have been helpful.
