Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to submit a formal complaint and request a partial refund of the amount paid for the accommodation due to the numerous issues we encountered during our stay. From the moment we arrived, we noticed that the actual condition of the apartment was nowhere near what was shown in the photographs and presentation on the website when we made the booking. The published photographs gave the impression of a well-maintained, clean and comfortable property, whereas the reality was significantly different. During our stay, we encountered the following issues: * Extreme heat inside the apartment: the fans provided were not powerful enough to cope with the extreme temperatures, making the conditions inside the apartment very uncomfortable. * Refrigerator not working properly: the refrigerator was not functioning correctly and was not cooling properly. We reported this issue and requested a solution because the food we had stored was beginning to spoil. * Ceiling in poor condition: paint was peeling and falling from the ceiling onto the dining table. This clearly demonstrated a lack of maintenance and affected our ability to properly use the dining area. * Balcony in poor condition: the balcony was filled with old and discarded items, which was completely different from what was shown in the property’s photographs. * Very dirty lounge/living room: the sofas and living area were extremely dirty, to the point that it was unpleasant and practically impossible to sit down and comfortably use the space. * Bathrooms showing signs of mould: there were visible signs of mould in the bathrooms, which is particularly concerning from a hygiene and maintenance perspective. All of these issues were documented with photographs taken during our stay, which clearly show the actual condition of the apartment and allow it to be compared with the photographs used to advertise the property on the website.
