The location. The size. The furniture, fixtures, and equipments. The surrounding neighborhood.

Location: The location is incredible. It’s on a quiet side street off a main avenue. It was incredibly quiet at night. We had waking access to Louvre and Notre Dame and great shopping in and around the area. There was a market and a taxi stand right around the corner which made our 1.5 days in Paris a breeze to see what we wanted to see. The pizza place next door is excellent- be sure to make reservations though. The apartment: Cozy and quaint. The renovation of whatever this used to be was done with intention and with great care. My two girls loved the loft bedroom, it was so adorable and cozy. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The showers were big and had good water pressure. Lots of outlets to charge and plug in. This place was perfect for a family of four for a few days in Paris. Staff: The staff running this apartment were wonderfully attentive, we got a message everyday to check in and the response was within the hour each time. They helped us book our car to the train station for our departure. We loved, loved, loved staying here and will keep this place in mind for return trips.

There was little ventilation and four people showering made the place feel a little damp after a few days. It was hard to figure out and adjust the thermostat, it was too cold and then too hot - but that’s user error! A quick google on my end before would have solved that problem. The marble floors are cold in the winter so make sure you have thick socks/slippers. A drying rack for clothes would be helpful to dry out the laundry/wet socks.
