Cleaning could have been done to a good standard

Well equipped with what you need, good size and in a nice part of the caravan site. Ideal that it is next to the car park. The owners seem nice and genuine, very easy to communicate with and we’re great at handling issues. Although I didn’t address the issues regarding the cleaning I’m sure they would have tried to resolve it.

The blinds are not the best and you can see through them from outside so be wary of when getting changed etc, balcony near to the living-room area is slightly loose and does come up on certain planks. Lack of cleanliness was a really big issue mainly there was what appeared to be dry snot and boogies all over the sofa arm nearer to the 2nd outside door, Quite a big wet dark stain also on the sofa. there was dried ketchup? up the 2 twin bedroom door, lots of dust and fur. The floors was extremely dirty, There was hairs/crumbs on the mattress proctors and stains/marks. The elderly cleaning lady who did seem nice was constantly coming around and coming up to the caravan 3/4 times a day, she came the night before check out to say she would be coming at 7:30am the following morning when told we wasn’t planning to leave until check out at around 10am she said she was still coming at 7:30, she came at 8:25am trying to get into the caravan and then when told again we wasn’t ready she came back at around 9:45/9:50am where she just walked straight past us still bagging up belongings and sending the kids for a last minute toilet trip and then proceeded to edge us out. I bought plenty of cleaning supplies including mop/bucket and scrubbed every bit of the caravan upon on arrival and did the same before exiting. The staff would have felt more comfortable if we hadn’t had the lady trying to get us out so early, we also left without either child going to the toilet before leaving due to the elderly cleaning lady letting herself in and placing down belongings and telling us to take our bags.
