Saint Minas Cathedral One Bedroom apt

My 2nd stay in Heraklion city centre so I expected noise: none. Central location, very close to 2 bus stops for either bus station or airport, round the corner from St Minas so you will hear the bell for the time (personally loved this), close to the market, SuperMamma Bazaar supermarket, 3mins to Morosini fountain, plenty of places to eat & about 10-15mins by foot to the fortress or Eleftherias Platias. Dionysis gave great instructions & recommendations prior to arrival. Communication was super easy. Secure building entrance with a small lift. Wifi worked great. Used the washing machine. Good kitchen facilities with under bench fridge, good shower, hairdryer worked well & iron/board in the wardrobe. Aircon unit in the lounge/kitchen & the bedroom, well laid out, lots of storage & good use of space. Small balcony was lovely. I was solo but easily comfortable for 2 people. I had the best sleep of my 2 week trip here. The bedroom is at the back, on the inside of the building which means it's quiet. I never heard a single plane. The room was also cooler as it was darker with a central well window (no view) + aircon. The best ever though was the real king size bed which was super comfortable. The bedroom had plenty of space, bedside tables & lamps, plenty of power outlets throughout the apartment. Excellent value for money.

Having to leave! I found the apartment absolutely perfect. Much better value than a hotel which doesn't give you kitchen or washing machine facilities + a quiet bedroom in a very noisy city.
