The apartment is new and modern, located in a new, concrete apartment building where people evidently were still moving in (plywood walls in the elevator). It is furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine in the bathroom, and aircon in both bedrooms as well as the livingroom/kitchen. We could park our bicycles in a dedicated bicycle room in the garage. There is an Interspar at the Mariandl mall about 750 meters from the apartment building where you can buy groceries.

The apartment building is located uphill from Krems, within walking distance, but long enough to be inconvenient if you want to go back to rest during the day. The washing machine worked fine, but there was no soap (we left some for the next guest), and the foldable drying rack was located under the bed in the master bedroom, although there was a small storage room where this could have been placed. Quite annoying. There is a balcony, which is nice for drying clothes, but it faces a busy road, so not very nice to sit there. Finally, I did not like the impersonal contactless experience. Booking.com asked about hosts, but there were not any. Communication was by e-mail only. The door code to the apartment did not work most of the time, so it was good we had at least one key and went places together. I would suggest leaving an extra key in the apartment. We did not bother downloading the app.

It is a very spacious and lovely looking flat. The view from terrace is wonderful. Everything is new and functioning well.

It is a bit far from the city center but we were fine with walking.

Die Lage war toll. Der Balkon war super. Auch das Auto war in der Garage absolut sicher abgestellt.

Das am Anfang kein Schlüssel da war... wir konnten die Situation zum Glück anders lösen. Der Schlüssel für die Wohnung kam dann aber in kurzer Zeit aber dennoch zu uns.
