What a spectacular place! Being steps away from the Pyramids made our daily tours incredibly easy, and the staff gave us the absolute best local tips and were super helpful . I Highly recommend this place

Really enjoyed my time at this hotel. The rooms were modern and spotless, the service was great, and the whole place had a warm, peaceful vibe that made the stay feel special.

We had a beautiful view of the pyramids of Giza from our room window. The breakfast was lovely on a rooftop overlooking the pyramids. The staff were friendly. The property was clean.

The address of the hotel on Booking.com was not enough for taxis, etc, which caused us major problems. There was also no hotel sign on the street. So when we arrived by taxi, we could not find it. We roamed around in the taxi for 20 minutes, and neither the lovely taxi driver nor any of the locals he asked knew where this place was. We tried to call on the listed phone number multiple times with no answer. We gave up and went to a nearby eaterie whilst one of us searched the streets again. No luck after another 20 minutes but eventually someone phoned back and sent us a photo of the hotel front. It was just a plain black glass door in between two shops, with no hotel sign above it. The says “Pyramid” - bit since most hotels in Giza are called pyramid in their name this was no help. Turns out have changed their name from Pyramid Hills to Isis Pyramid, but Isis does not exist on google/apple maps so nobody can find it/knows of it. We had booked a room for two adults and a child, however were our room had only two single beds. We twice asked to be transferred to a room for 3, they said they would but nothing happened. One night we asked for recommendations of somewhere to eat and were offered a meal at the hotel which we were grateful for because it was late (8.30pm). We ordered but after 1.5 hours still no food.Eventually young man brought food, clearly from a nearby takeaway and heated in microwave. Our toilet seat barely stayed up. The bathroom sink was behind the door so not comfortably accessible. The tap easily splashed onto the floor. There was no lift and we had to climb 4 lot of stairs to our room. It was noisy both in the neighbourhood outside and sometimes on the stairs outside of our room and sound insulation was not good. There was a chicken coup on the next property rooftop and cockerel crowed early every morning. The wardrobe door creaked badly. I did not unpack for the three nights that we were there because I didn’t feel comfortable enough.
