About this apartment rental
Tortuga's Lie is your relaxation destination away from home that sits just off the Carolina Beach & Kure Beach access point. The unit has 3 marvelous bedrooms featuring 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, & a sleeper sofa. This serene condo boasts 2.5 bathrooms, along with a cozy living room with open floor plan and kitchen. Enjoy the convenience of amenities that includes WiFi and paid Hulu streaming TV service. Relaxing balcony, washer/dryer, outdoor shower and just a few minute walk to the convenient public beach access and island Greenway Trails.
A few blocks north into Carolina Beach enjoy the Ocean Grill Tiki Bar, Fun Times, The Spot, Veggie Wagon, The Fat Pelican, Lazy Pirate, Britts Donuts (A MUST HAVE), the entire boardwalk and shops, and much more.
Go a few blocks south and now you have the Kure Beach Pier, 4 restaurants, arcade and perhaps the best dive bar you have ever been too; all located at the same stoplight.
Head south a little further in Fort Fisher, enjoy Riverview Restaurant at Blakelee's Campground (Awesome Sunsets), Fort Fisher history & museum, and the Fort Fisher Aquarium. Just 10 minutes back across the bridge (we say "Don't make me go OTB") is Beau Rivage Resort for golfers and the local zoo to entertain kids.
Want a boat ride, take the Ft. Fisher ferry over to Southport to enjoy great shopping, food, and history. And if you are felling really adventurous, take the next ferry over to Bald Head Island. And there is always historic downtown Wilmington and the NC Battleship Memorial.
We love catering to our visitors. If you are coming for a special occasion please let us know in advance. Who knows what goodies you might find upon arrival. Also, if there are any special needs or requests, please ask. If we can accommodate those requests, we will do our best.
Parking will accommodate 4 compact vehicles, or three standard size cars. Golf cart rentals are available on the island, ask us about our favorite for a recommendation. We provide 8 beach towels, 4 beach chairs, 3 bicycles, and a tote wagon for your beach essentials.
Minimum Stay: We have our condo set up to accept a minimum stay of 5 nights. We will entertain shorter rental days, you will need to send us a message in advance to discuss availability.
Early Arrival: We will gladly accommodate early arrival depending on availability and previous rental departure and cleaning schedule at no charge. Please ask in advance.
Late Departure: Depending on the next rental booking we will accommodate late departure at no additional charge based on availability and the next scheduled rental. Please ask in advance, however we do accept bookings up to 5 days prior to arrival. It is possible a late departure request could be rescinded if a booking happens before that 5 day cutoff for bookings.

We had such a great time at Tortuga’s Lie. The house was finished nicely, very clean, and had everything we wanted in a beach house. The owners were very responsive and accommodating to our requests. We wish we could have stayed longer. We look forward to hopefully coming back next year.

This house was perfect for us!! Very clean, inviting and perfect walk to the beach!! Great location to visit the beach, the boardwalk and Kure beach as well! The space was updated and plenty of room!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful beach home with our family. The house is gorgeous with attention to detail in every area! Great location with beach access right across the street, we would definitely recommend and can’t wait to stay again.

What a lovely, fresh place to stay! With only a short walk to the beach and comfy beds, this was the perfect place for a quiet, refreshing stay at Carolina Beach. There were excellent amenities and the check-in/check-out process worked seamlessly. Definitely a place we will stay at again!
