Escape to this beautifully restored 3-bedroom Victorian townhouse in the heart of Kendal - your perfect base for the Lake District. With a private garden, free parking, and stylish interiors throughout, this is the whole-home retreat that groups and couples have been looking for.


The home

Original Victorian character meets contemporary comfort across three floors. The cosy lounge has a Smart TV, books and games for relaxed evenings in. The spacious dining room, also with Smart TV, is ideal for group dinners. The fully equipped modern kitchen has everything you need to cook from scratch or throw together a quick breakfast before heading out onto the fells.


The bedrooms

Three beautifully appointed bedrooms sleep up to 6 comfortably. Two generous king-size rooms, one convertible to twin, and a third double bedroom. Two bathrooms: one with shower, one with both bath and shower. Fresh towels, toiletries, hairdryer and iron all provided.


Outside

Your own private garden with seating, ideal for morning coffee or an evening drink after a day exploring. Free parking directly behind the property.


The location

Kendal town centre is a 5-minute walk where you will find independent cafés, restaurants, bars, Boots pharmacy and convenience stores all on your doorstep. Kendal train and bus stations are close by, giving you easy access to The Lake District National Park - Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere and beyond - no car required.

The entire property is yours including all three bedrooms, both bathrooms, lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility room and garden. Washer, dryer, Wi-Fi throughout, and 24/7 host support included. Well-behaved dogs welcome (one per stay, downstairs only).

Nicely renovated to a high standard. All the mod cons Well equipped kitchen and it was great having a washer/dryer. Great location to base yourself in the Lake District. Tasha the host replied very quickly with my questions. There is a TV in every room. They even have Alexa.I wouldn't recommend this place if you have mobility issues. The two staircases are steep and one of the landings is precarious. If you really want a wardrobe to hang up things there isn't one. There is a clothing rack in the basement though.Overall, we had a lovely stay.
