HOUSE IN FRONT OF THE SEa!

We were looking for a property which overlooked the sea which faced sunset and this property was perfect for both. Siviri is not a large town and we were close enough to the centre to walk in every evening. The property itself was beautiful, nice double bed, plenty of space to put clothes away and the verandah was perfect. We had breakfast there every day, and watched the sunset every evening. The owners helped us get connected to the internet and were very friendly and helpful, even going as far as texting us through the holiday to see if there was anything we needed or that they could help with as well as leaving a note with suggestions for beaches, restaurants and other places to go to in the Halkidiki area. There is a lovely beach just in front of the apartment and a very short walk along the beach takes you to even quieter areas to sunbathe and relax. The apartment had everything we needed, and in fact even more than we needed. We didn't do our laundry or cook an evening meal for ourselves but had we felt the need, all was there. There was a great TV which we able to put a USB stick into and watch shows we'd brought with us too. There was secure parking and a socket in the garage we were able to charge our hybrid hire car from. At the other end of town is a supermarket which had everything we needed for our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, it's very difficult to think of anything we didn't like. Even though it was the end of the season and a lot of businesses had closed down there were still 3 restaurants open which gave us options every night, so not really a negative but it would have been interesting to come slightly earlier and experience some of the town's businesses which close down in the off season.
