Alkioni by the Sea Hotel

The place is right on the beach, with a truly wonderful location. The view was absolutely amazing. The staff were very helpful and attentive, and overall, we had a really pleasant stay.

What we didn’t like was that we were given a room on the last floor, and with kids - it is not very comfortable. Yes, the view was amazing, but it wasn’t particularly convenient. When I booked the room, the photos showed a ground-floor room with direct access to the beach, so we expected this actually. The apartment itself was quite worn and in need of some maintenance. There was no bin in the kitchen, the cutlery was insufficient for four people, and there was no knife, soap, or sponge provided. The sink constantly made a noise, even during the night, and the kitchenette was quite small and cramped. I assume the idea is to have dinner outside, but unfortunately there were a lot of mosquitoes, so we couldn’t really make use of the terrace. Another thing we didn’t like was the room cleaning schedule. It was always between 2 and 4 p.m., which is exactly when people usually rest, especially families with children. It would have been much more convenient if the cleaning could have been done earlier in the day.

The location of the Alkioni by the sea Hotel s excellent, first line next to the sea. Apart from its excellent location right by the sea, I believe that all rooms have either a direct or a side view of the sea, so you can enjoy your meal or coffee while taking in the beautiful sea view or the sunset. The hotel is very clean and hygiene is maintained to a high standard, with the rooms cleaned every day, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. One day during my holiday, I accidentally cut my hand, and two members of the hotel staff immediately came to my assistance and reacted very professionally. They disinfected and bandaged my wound, for which I am very grateful.

Nothing

We liked the location. It was on the beach and we had a nice sea view.

The wifi was poor and with bad signal, the tv was small and doesn’t have netflix/hbo on it, the dishes in the kitchen were very old and you could see that they have been heavily used, the bathroom was very dark, the lightning was very poor
