Artists Seaside Sanctuary

This appartment truly IS a sanctuary. You can tell it has been decorated by somebody with an eye for images, color and details. A great collection of artists books. It feels luxurious yet homely. We were here during a heatwave, the bedroom stayed really cool and quiet. So many great cafes, galleries and restaurants at walking distance (St. Leonards). Cross the street and you are at a local, quiet part of the beach. We will most definately return!

A stylish apartment, spacious and right across the road from the beach

Nothing we didn't like

The spacious, well-equipped apartment is perfectly located for people who love the beach. You only have to cross the street in front of the house, and you’re right there. It’s a great spot for swimming and taking walks along the shore. Despite the road, the apartment — and even the garden — remain peaceful and quiet. There is ample parking available everywhere. Within a 5–10 minute walk, you’ll find two small cafés for breakfast, pubs for an evening drink or meal, as well as a pharmacy and a small supermarket — perfect if you don’t feel like going into the town center. For moments when you need a bit of warmth, the stove and the generous supply of firewood are wonderful. The landlord provides an excellent introduction to the apartment’s features and how to use them, is very helpful, and responds quickly to any inquiries. The surrounding area of St Leonards is perfect for hiking in beautiful landscapes.
