Lakkos House

We stayed at Lakkos house for our first night in Heraklion and we couldn't have wished for better. Our host was very helpful and kind, provided us with breakfast as well. The bar/restaurant O Lakkos right in front of the house is a great local spot where we ate well and met nice people.

The property was ultra-clean and fresh. The bed was really comfortable and good wi-fi on both floors. The location was very convenient, close proximity to the conference venue and main square, where all the restaurants are. The kafeneio (a traditional Greek restaurant) below was perfect to grab a quick bite, breakfast, beer, coffee etc. Most importantly, Vagelis is an amazing host. He is wholesome, kindhearted and always happy to assist. Highly recommended.

The bedroom and the terrace are very nice, all clean, and the owner was very very kind I recommend it

A great little apartment in a picturesque and colourful neighbourhood of Heraklion - about 5 minutes walk to the city centre, parking was easy thanks to the host, who was very thoughtful and kind overall. The apartment overlooks a really nice little square mainly occupied by the cafe, and it is equipped with everything that may be needed, even a small dishwasher. We were a family of four and it was just right and comfortable - we think it would be exceptional for two people even for longer stays. The main bedroom upstairs has access to a really pretty terrace overlooking the square. Thanks again for everything, Vagelis!
