    Another exceptional experience with Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts! My wife and I always choose Cinnamon Hotels for our special occasions, and they never fail to exceed our expectations. Last year, we celebrated at Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, and this year, we chose Kandy Myst By Cinnamon to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Once again, it was an amazing and unforgettable experience. From check-in, where we received the warmest welcome, to check-out, every part of our stay was wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist us. Their genuine hospitality made our celebration even more special. The food was excellent, as we have come to expect from Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts. Both breakfast and dinner offered a fantastic variety of choices, with excellent taste and quality. One of the highlights of our stay was the surprise birthday celebration they arranged for my wife during dinner. It was a beautiful and unforgettable moment, just like the special celebration we experienced last year at Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams. The hotel itself is beautiful, with breathtaking mountain views. Our room was modern, very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Every detail contributed to a relaxing and memorable stay. For our special occasions, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts has become our preferred choice, and once again, they delivered an experience beyond our expectations. Everything was truly 10/10 for us. We sincerely thank the entire team at Kandy Myst By Cinnamon for making my wife’s birthday so special. We hope to return again for the next birthday celebration.     The room was clean, and overall, my stay was satisfactory. During check-in, I made the payment by card and, fortunately, kept the receipt. However, at check-out, the receptionist informed me that there was an outstanding bill. When I asked for clarification, she said it was the hotel bill. I then showed the receipt as proof of payment made during check-in. After reviewing it, she mentioned that there had been a system error on their end. If I had paid in cash or had not kept the receipt, it would have been very inconvenient and could have led to me being asked to pay for the room a second time. I strongly advise anyone visiting this hotel to keep a copy of their payment receipt as evidence, because otherwise, they may be asked to pay again. I have stayed in many hotels across Sri Lanka, and this is the first time I have encountered such an issue. I was particularly disappointed as I expected better service from such a reputed hotel chain.
