    It was a short stay and I had a good experience. Staff were friendly. Great dinner and breakfast buffet. Would come back for work trips.

    The room was clean, and overall, my stay was satisfactory. During check-in, I made the payment by card and, fortunately, kept the receipt. However, at check-out, the receptionist informed me that there was an outstanding bill. When I asked for clarification, she said it was the hotel bill. I then showed the receipt as proof of payment made during check-in. After reviewing it, she mentioned that there had been a system error on their end. If I had paid in cash or had not kept the receipt, it would have been very inconvenient and could have led to me being asked to pay for the room a second time. I strongly advise anyone visiting this hotel to keep a copy of their payment receipt as evidence, because otherwise, they may be asked to pay again. I have stayed in many hotels across Sri Lanka, and this is the first time I have encountered such an issue. I was particularly disappointed as I expected better service from such a reputed hotel chain.
