Well equipted and convientent to a lot of the centre of Fuengirola

Location was excellent very handy from train station or bus depot. Facilities were very good although we didn't cook anything. The balcony was useful with it being a busy road once the balcony doors were closed it was quiet and easy to sleep without any disruption. Easy contact with the rental company

I do think that the arrival instructions were over complicated, perhaps if you said the the entrance to the apartment was directly opposite Dream Properties or another shop would be easier to understand, the location on the instructions seems to indicate that the apartment is at the rear off the building. No complaints about the apartment though.

Great comfortable stay

Lovely apartment less than 5 minutes from the train station and bus station. Situated above a lovely bakery with easy access to shops and a few minute walk to the marina. Very helpful staff/owners.

Lovely apartment and location

Excellent location, lovely terrace area, surprisingly quiet given it's location. Great to have washing machine, dishwasher etc

An extra hand towel in the bathroom would have been good - there were 2 bath and 2 hand towels provided but we both needed one of these each (hand towels to wrap our hair in after showering). Sofa was really uncomfortable to sit on (appreciate that it was a sofa bed)

We will not book Sur Suites again

The bakery just around the corner was very good to have breakfast. The beds were good. The beach is close enough to walk. The metro station is very close.

During the morning of the day of arrival, we were spammed with WhatsApp messages and were urged to enter our personal data in a web database, which we did not know and which is potentially very unsafe. Everybody knows that you should not enter personal passport data into an unknown web tool. This was weird and very annoying. When we did not enter the data immediately, more urgent messages came in ... They told us that we will not get a code without entering the data. Hey, we are on a vacation trip! It is very annoying to be spammed with such messages when you like to enjoy Spain and like to have a nice free time for sightseeing. Even after entering the data, we did not receive a code. We got the key later. So the threat with the code was wrong. 1. Good companies do not allow their employees to communicate with their customers via WhatsApp! I know this by heart. 2. booking.com has a communication channel! 2. You should not enter personal data into unknown web tools. 3. Sur Suites just offloads their administrative work load to us travelers! And by the way, we payed all three nights already upfront!!!! So Sun Suites had the money already, but still urged to sign a contract online immediately! When we arrived at about 18:00, nobody was there! We had to wait ourselves! We payed already everything, we followed the annoying online registration. And then nobody was there when we arrived ... We never experienced this before on our trip through Spain. Everywhere else we had a warm welcome without such annoying administrative stuff. At the receptions in other locations, we just showed the passport and that's it. Next, the elevator did not work the whole weekend. So we had to carry our luggage not only from the very good and secure parking at the seaside (20 € per day) several blocks to the building, but then also up to 3rd floor. The apartment is not well maintained and cleaned. See the attached pictures. We will not book Sur Suites another time.

Great location and wonderful host who goes above and beyond to help in any way he can. This was our 2nd stay in a penthouse apartment. They are comfortable and has everything needed even for an extended stay.

Slight noise from building /maintenance work from 9am but it was really a minor issue. Everything else was perfect and we hope to return again next year.

great stay

The location was in the middle of the Fuengirola centre, easy access to buss terminal (literally downstairs) and train station. The room was spacious and clean. The owner was super lovely and helpful and very easy to reach out if you needed anything. The kitchen was fully supplied with anything you needed. Definitely would return if I go back there!

Excellent Host, Clean, Comfy apartment, 5 min walk to beach!

Host was excellent, we telephoned when we arrived and host met us at the apartment. We stayed with friends and we all had plenty to room and everything we needed.

One of the rooms was a small twin, it didn't bother us to much as we were only staying a few days.

We all liked the apartment and had a great holiday. We would definately stay again.

Good location, near buses and trains. Friendly helpful staff, there were few light bulbs missing but they were replaced immediately. Also coffee machine provided since we preferred filter coffee. Good facilities.

Great place to stay

The location is great. The beach, restaurants and many shops are reachable by a short walk. Just underneath the appartment there is a cafeteria where you can have delicious breakfast. Air conditioning works perfectly.

Only thing that we were missing during our stay was a mirror from the second bedroom (there is one in the other), so definitely a great place to stay! Another thing to develop could be some instructions for the trash bins - what and where and where to bring those. We forgot to ask these, so were a bit confused.
