2BD Heart of London Soho&Covent

The location was absolutely fantastic for central London. Loads of space in the apartment. Had everything we needed.

We struggled to find the property. Received email after booking with directions, lock box code which printed off. An email was sent on day of arrival with clearer directions and a different code. Had not realised received a different email.

An absolutely wonderfully situated apartment in close proximity to Covenant gardens and just a short walk to the west end shows, very secure as key fob needed to get firstly through main gated entrance and secondly to get through main entrance door to achieve access to apartment ( number 3) which is this apartment number, there are two other apartments which have direct access through main access apartments 1&2 ( so very secure for your belongings) couple of stairwells to overcome, firstly to get up to apartment ( 2 small flights) and then (2 flights when inside front door of apartment) we didn’t find this difficult even though we are seniors and able bodied. The apartment itself was very comfortable, beds comfortable, kitchen and bathroom nice with everything you need for your stay, dining table in main living room, plenty of different lighting options, which enhanced our stay, lovely big tv with smart facilities, host was extremely responsive which we appreciated very much as we had small issues which needed to address ( namely WiFi signal dropping in certain areas) which host addressed immediately. The only negative which I will state is that this apartment was advertised as with balcony with city views and the balcony was not accessible as it was locked off by a door which stated please break seal if a fire occurs ( I did mention this to the host as 2 filters that I used when searching for our stay were bath and balcony) we expected a functional balcony even if it were to be a Juliet type, this was somewhat a disappointment upon arrival but when I brought this subject up I was assured it was on the maintenance teams to do list and will be sorted for future clients benefit. I personally hope this will be addressed as I think to advertise this property with balcony with city views which was a main concern when searching for our London stay and then to arrive and not have the facility was very upsetting to say the least, please note no pictures of balcony area.

Nous avions sélectionné cet établissement parce qu’il affichait 3 lits doubles et 1 canapé-lit. A l’arrivée, il n’y avait que 2 lits doubles et 1 canapé-lit. C’est largement moins confortable pour celui qui dort dessus et surtout ça encombre le salon et la salle à manger.

Excellent location and spacious apartment. Host was very helpful and responsive when the boiler broke - they were very accommodating to move us to a new place ASAP.

Needs some general maintenance (leaking taps, bath plug doesn’t fit). The major unfortunate issue was that the boiler broke, which left us without hot water or heating, during winter! Some darker or blackout blinds would also help with allowing a sleep-in.
