This is a strange review to make. The accommodation and location is great . It is a massive apartment with great views and less than 3 mins to the beach. The Coop is attached so great for shopping. Location allows for easy walking distance to loads of things. I have limited mobility so it was great for us. Car parking onsite at £5 a day was great but you have to remember to do it daily as you can only do 24 hrs but that is not the accommodations fault. Beds were very comfy and clean, fresh bedding. Great kitchen and living room. Lovely big tv when we worked out how to use it, an instruction booklet may help others.
A few issues if resolved would have given a score of 10. I noted on another review just before we left that the shower was a little grubby and worn. This was seen when we arrived. I have a few immunocompromised issues and it was not suitable for me to use. After a bleach, scrub and clean, which should not have been required it was clean. Hopefully those coming after us will notice. This is just a general housekeeping issue that with some thought, it should not be an area that should be ignored as the rest of the apartment was clean. My biggest issue was communication. I booked and specifically stated we had a dog on the booking and the accommodation was advertised as accepting pets but an additional charge may be made, ( not an issue). I then sent an email to the owner stating again, we have a dog, and no response. I phoned the day before arriving and was informed all was okay and the code would be sent around 2pm on the day of arrival. On the day of arrival I had a missed call at 12.30pm asking me to phone, which I did immediately, we had been packing the car. I phoned and text straight back and had a text stating,he would phone in a minute. After half an hour. I get a call, “oh, your booking says you have a dog. Yes I said, I have given you this information on the booking and email. Response, sorry I haven’t had time to read them, it should be okay but it’s £30 . No problem I said and requested payment details. Again told code would be sent around 2pm. We arrived at 2.59pm and nothing, phoned again, oh I’m sending it now, sat another 15 mins before code was sent. So would I recommend, yes I would, would I stay again, yes I would . Customer service issues could easily be resolved and people driving for a break need to feel confident when they are travelling, everything is ok.

loved everything about my stay. It was comfortable and relaxing, and the owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with. I ended up extending my stay and would happily book again.

It was easy, convenient, comfortable and was almost perfect for the job.

The shower really needs refreshing it was a bit grubby and not sealing. The waste pipe was nearly blocked and it tended to back up.

It was very clean and well furnished. Good location for going to the theatre.
I contacted the owner through Booking.com a couple of times but no reply, so texted them directly 24 hours before arrival to ask for check in instructions. I was told they would arrive just the next day. When I had not had them 45 mins before we were due to arrive, I texted again. This time they said they would send them but wanted ID to prove who we were. There was no mention of this in the property policies and we did not want to send photos of ID on a text message. We refused and the owner did send us the entry codes - however this was really upsetting and stressful as we thought we may need to find somewhere else to stay. We did call Booking.com and they were great but this is not the way to run a rental property!

Central location for what I needed. Had everything needed. Good space. Good price for the night. Owner was supportive and communicated well.

I can’t understand the business model of the host that takes your booking then ignores you.
The views looked great in the photos which is why I booked a three night stay but didn’t get to see them.
The fact that the host did not send any check in details. Did not reply to my e mails in the App and neither to a text on the mobile number provided. My call also wasn’t answered or returned despite voice message left. This was the day before I was due to arrive. Many comments say what great communication they received from the host. Unfortunately I was put in the category of being completely ignored. Booking.com customer services was excellent. I did get refund but was unable to find a suitable alternative at that short notice even though booking.com would have paid substantially over any difference.
