D'Villa Guest House

A great place! Very comfortable rooms, very kind host, and quiet area. You do hear the trains occasionally since it is close by the train racks, but only a handful times a day. Overall, would highly recommend! The rooms are clean, AC works, and there is also a fan if you prefer that. There is a fridge you can use and free water to refill your water bottle!

The mattress is a bit thin, but other than that it is great.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Quiet room in a leafy neighbourhood in Jaffna. Dilan is a very helpful and knowledgeable host, who arranged day trips and tuktuk rides for me and arranged a bike to rent for the duration of my stay. Laundry service also available.

The room can get very hot at night, but with the ceiling fan you can create a cool breeze.

The housekeeper was really sweet and friendly. The owner’s father as well. The outside room was nice.

Arriving was already difficult because our tuktuk driver could not find it and there was not a big sign so that we drove by twice in the dark. He needed to call the owner and get more instructions.The picture when booking the room was different and some years old and upon arrival we were given a room with twin beds which felt like a downgrade. The floor didn’t look clean and the wallls had stains. At night there was an ant road in our bathroom and we had two cockroaches in our room. Also we had to pay extra for our AC which came as a negative surprise. So we weren’t happy about staying here.
