Very reasonably priced and a big room

The guesthouse is in a residential area and so it is quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. It was so nice to stay there because I got to interact with Raj and Ramanusha who were very hospitable and friendly throughout! They guided me on things to do and where to eat. Their friends too made my stay wonderful. The breakfast is also very good! The Wifi worked well.
The window in the restroom could use a mesh but no complaints.

Nice quiet location and Raj was a great help planning our day trip on the scooters up to Fort Hammenhiel and our train to Anuradhapura.
Room was simple and clean with good aircon.
Unfortunately a gutter was making noise in the wind but it couldn’t be fixed during our stay.
There’s a communal fridge and tea coffee area plus water refills.
Can recommend J Hotel for dinner, thought it was going to be overpriced but food was great and good prices. Staff and management were awesome.
Shower wall tiles need a good clean. Curtains let in all the morning light - bring an eye mask if it bothers you.
