Le Perroquet qui Bulle - Reims Centre

This was our little oasis, coming home after a long, hot day. Cosy, well thought through, big bedroom and living room. It was nice to have an apartment rather than a hotel room where you could sleep, chill or cook if needed. Location would be hard to beat with walking distance to several great restaurants and bars and close to the train station. We had views of the park from the living room and the cathedral from the bedroom. I was surprised how quiet it was given the central location. Important, there’s AC! Everything we needed was in the apartment including washing machine, dishwasher and iron. Lots of space to put away clothes which is not given! I’d absolutely recommend this place and would not think twice staying here next time when in Reims!

I’m nitpicking here but if you like us we’re planning to bring home a couple of bottles of champagne know there’s no elevator. Great workout, not so great with big suitcases :)

Impersonal to (actually, far past) the point of rudeness. Lack of communication/response on their point left us stranded with luggage in Reims; it also meant we spent 7 minutes in a downpour outside the door, waiting for the check-in code to work. Leaky shower had pretty but empty bottles of soap and soaked the floor each morning. Despite rationing, we ran out of toilet paper, but couldn't trust the proprietor to respond/restock. Also, weirdly, their online orientation booklet started off about security cameras and illegal download warnings, which made us wonder if it's a Napster holdover or if previous visitors had been playing around on the dark web. All in, I would NOT recommend this stay.
