I have today returned from a brilliant holiday at this apartment which is in a quiet street right next to 5th Avenue This building is managed by Alan who was invaluable from the moment I arrived at Cancun Airport where I had been badly let down by the Booking .com Taxi Company ; their driver had left the airport before all passengers ( myself included) had exited from the Arrivals Hall (Cancun is notoriously ultra slow with Passport Controls and baggage collection On my first day at the apartment I realised there were no instructions for the operation of the oven hob, the microwave, the aircon and the large wall mounted screen Alan visited and very patiently explained all the technicalities I soon found myself in difficulties over hiring a local bicycle so once again...Alan to the rescue He organised the hire of a really good bicycle with a large very useful basket This apartment is brand new and everything was supplied as featured It is also a short 7 min walk to the main Mamitas beach The beaches I should add are completely free from the dreaded Sargassum seaweed However the stunning Coco beach and the Playacar beach are definitely the best Owing to the central location of this apartment, the surrounding area is 100 per cent safe by day or night; there are Security Cameras on the corners of every street and there are heavily armed police patrols for 24 hours on foot and in vehicles My homeward taxi journey with Booking.com was equally as bad as the outward ; when I contacted the taxi company for departure details, they advised there was no booking in my name Alan once again came to the rescue and organised an extremely low priced and efficient taxi service I was finally contacted on my day of departure by the Booking.com taxi company who asked for the details of the hotel where I was staying as they would collect me on a Shuttle service( which stops at several hotels on the way to the airport) !! So finally my thanks to Alan for his invaluable help
