Beautiful house in nature. We arrived after walking the Nakasendo trail, and it was a wonderful place to relax in. We bought wagyu meet in the local supermarket and cooked for ourselves, watched a movie in the rainy atmosphere and slept like babies in the most comfortable bed. Highly recommend! and stay more then just one night!!
Honestly nothing. Maybe a bit big/pricy for a couple staying just for one night. I would love to come back with a group of friends for a few nights

Wonderful renovated house right on the Nakasendo path. The house was incredible and the owner was a real pleasure to talk to. Highly raccomanded for a stay!

Beautiful, authentic and very comfortable home in the perfect location - only steps from the Nakasendo trail. Best host experience we have ever had, great meals at the house and we were even visited by monkeys

We stayed at Ame Nakasendo the night before our organized hiking tour The house was quiet, peaceful, meticulously clean and Tommy, our host, was very helpful and kind. We had ordered the wagyu and veggies meal kit and it was great.
It’s an uphill climb to the house about .5miles from the train station but it’s forth the walk.
