The master bedroom has a king size bed and coordinated furniture fit for a sea captain.That beautiful king size bed invites you in for a good night’s rest and provides a side access to the private patio off the living room. First check in was after hours and was not the way the email explains it to be, so we were unprepared, had to go park and walk back to the gate to check in. Parking was the worst, we had to park about 3 blocks across the parking lot, there were no trolleys for luggage like the website said there was. Finally after getting to the condo, opening the door we were hit with a horrible musty, moldy odor, gross! For the price we paid, I expected so much more. Every time we returned and open the door the smell of mold was overbearing! Only 2 elevators worked and only one has cool air. The one near the office was so hot and always over crowded. The coffee pot is a fire hazard, it has to be unplugged and replugged because the on/off button does not work, the coffee burner is charred. If I were the owner, as cheap as coffee pots are, I wouldn’t risk burning down my condo. On the positive side the bed was comfy. I’m a nurse so my standards are high when it comes to cleanliness, it could have been better, there were hairs in the shower, and we took down a white blanket from the bedroom closet to cover with and it had yellow, crusty substance on it, God only knows what that was. Just being truthful. I have been going to PC Beach for 40 years, there are much better places to stay for the price we paid, we won’t be staying here again, sorry! The mold smell needs to be dealt with honestly, the smell reflects Regency’s age, 50+ yrs,… The place is cutely decorated and has potential.
