Studio charmant Parking & terrasse près du centre

The apartment was very clean, modern and beautifully decorated. We liked being able to park our car outside the door and we were able to walk to the tram a few minutes away which took us to all the major sights and lovely restaurants.

The weather was very warm during our stay and the apartment had no air conditioning. A fan was provided but with the heat, which we are not used to, we found it very hard to get a good nights sleep.

Self catering. Parking fine and it was a delightful, well decorated studio apartment. It is the only one - at the end of a row - that is in such good condition as the others are either being decorated or a a bit scrubby. It is a most convenient location to get into central Nantes as the tram service is really close and you are in central Nantes in about 5 minutes.. There is a local boulangerie and a few restaurants whivh were closed when we visited. The area where the apartment is located might seem a bit 'edgy' with graffiti around and once at the apartment is was reasonably quiet with birdsong. We DID like it and it was a welcome space to be in with high quality fittings and furnishing. It worked for us The owners kept in touch before our visit and were quick to respond to a phone call to help us when we had difficulties accessing the property.

Accessing the apartment in a VW Tiguan was very tight as the access road is actually a narrow passageway. The video showing how to access the key box is out of date as the barrier has changed. It was extremely difficult to access the key box once the car was in the passageway and a new video would help e.g showing someone walking through the process of entering the passage, leaving the car, walking to the key box, opening the gate (seeing which part of the fob to press) . This would have helped us know what to do. We recommend the width for driving down the passageway is stated as any vehicle wider than ours would find it extremely tight or even impossible to get down. Once safely outside the apartment - it really is a very good place . We obviously left the car there and used public transport and hoped our exit would be straightforward, which it was. Despite our problems we were able to very quickly get a response from the owners who talked us through our problem with the key fob. For this we were most grateful.
