About this house rental
Small, quiet culde-sac with few homes. Ocean Views of Ponto Beach and Batiquitos Lagoon from the sitting area at the top of the nearly 1/2 acre property. Walking distance to Batiquitos Lagoon, walking trails and close to Carlsbad State Beach.
Fully Landscaped property with open grass areas in the backyard. Large BBQ area with lots of outdoor seating including an outdoor dining area. There is a retractable awning over the outside dining table. The BBQ area has a Turbo built-in grill, outdoor bar sink, and outdoor refrigerator. The pool features two waterfalls complete with a sun area and jetted jacuzzi. The pool has solar heating and a control panel inside the house for heating and the water features. The pool can be heated at the time of stay with an extra fee. There is a three car garage stocked with surfboards, boogie boards, paddle boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and beach cruisers available for use. There is also a treadmill, pull-up station, work out bench, and dumbbells set up for guests as well.
The lower level of the home has vaulted ceilings in the entry way above the formal living room. It also has hardwood floors throughout, a formal dining room, a complete Viking Kitchen including under-counter ice maker and wine refrigerator. The kitchen has recently been remodeled and contains granite counter tops, custom cabinets, a spacious pantry, a bar top, and a dining area.
The television room has built in cabinets that holds a curved 65" Samsung smart TV. It is fully equipped with surround sound and it also has Apple TV.
There is one bedroom downstairs that is a queen size and sleeps two comfortably. There is one full bathroom complete with a full shower. The bathroom has been recently remodeled and has custom cabinets, granite counter tops, and the shower has custom tile with a large tempered glass door.
The upstairs has new carpet throughout, a recently remodeled full laundry room with granite countertops and sink. It has a front loading washer and dryer.
There is a full jack and jill bathroom with double sinks that has recently been recently remolded with granite counter tops, custom cabinets, tiled floors, and tiled bath and shower.
One of the guest rooms that connect to the jack and jill bathroom has a full size bed and can sleep two. It has a flat screen TV mounted to the wall and a walk in closet.
The other guest room that attaches to the jack and jill bathroom has a queen size bed and can sleep two.
There is a third guest room upstairs with a queen size bed and can sleep two and has a recently remodeled full bathroom with a full shower. It has custom cabinets, tiled floors, and tiled counter tops and shower. It has a flat screen TV mounted to the wall.
The master bedroom is situated upstairs to the back of the house. It has a king size bed, flat screen TV mounted to the wall, and built in surround sound. It flows into a full bathroom complete with double sinks, a separate vanity, and walk in closets.
This is an amazing house and property. It is close to the beach and all the key coastal locations in North County San Diego.

Our family stayed for a 10 day visit for our son's wedding in April. The booking and check-in was very easy with the property manager. All communication on any concerns was excellent.The location in the "Aviaria" section of Carlsbad cant be any better. It is convenient to the beach, shops, grocery store and much more. We had our grand children stay with us along with another young family member and they just loved the pool, rock slide and play areas on both sides of the house. Plenty of water toys to play with at the property. They had wet suits, boggie and surf boards and beach cruisers that made our stay even more complete.The kitchen area, breakfast nook and family room was where we spent most of our time. Plenty of room and well organized with every pot, pan and dish you may need for your stay.Bedrooms were very comfortable and accommodated our group of 9 easily. Plenty of parking on the property and the kids were safe when playing in the cup-de-sac.The outdoor BBQ and fire pit was excellent and was put to good use many nights. Backyard was fantastic! We loved the pool, hot tub, multiple tables & fire pits. Everything was taken care of very well. We had a slight issue with the thermostat- but the owner handled it. Kendle was very responsive. Would recommend for a larger family outing! We had two families for a total of 9. Was comfortable and accommodating for all.

Wow, what a place! We were so glad to return for our 3rd year. Writing this review right before booking for year 4. Highlights:-Ledge area of pool allows adults to swim while kids hang in shallow water.-So many fun activities on site.-Proximity to amazing stuff for kids (LEGO Land, beaches, flower fields, windmill food hall, good grocery shopping)

We had a FABULOUS time at this wonderful house. Perfect amount of space for two families and grandparents. The pool and outdoor space is phenomenal. We made great use of the outdoor and pool toys. The kitchen had everything we needed and was fun to cook and eat in! 10 minutes from Legoland, 40 minutes to the Safari Park, and 30 minutes from the airport suited our needs perfectly. We really appreciated the kids toys in the house as well. We hope to return!
