It's the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day at nearby LEGOLAND, one of Carlsbad’s pristine beaches, or a day of watersports at the nearby lagoon. There are 2 studios on the property with separate entrances. One studio is occupied by a long term tenant and there is a door that leads to a short hallway into the studio. Neither you, nor the tenant have keys to the doors and one cannot be accessed via the other. The other studio is reserved to the family of the owners when they are in town and also shares a door but it remains locked. Both studios front doors are behind the side gate to the north of the house. Also, no pets are allowed at this property. Sorry!

Our recent stay at this rental home in San Diego had both positive aspects and areas that required improvement. The home provided ample space to accommodate our group comfortably, and its location was convenient for exploring the area.However, we encountered several maintenance and cleanliness issues that impacted our overall experience. Upon arrival, we noticed that the property had not been thoroughly cleaned, as there were multiple spider webs and large spiders present inside the house. Additionally, the upstairs loft had peeling paint, which appeared to be the result of a previous water leak. The back patio screen was also damaged prior to our arrival.Further concerns included dirty AC vents, chipped bed frames, and a cracked lamp with missing pieces. These issues gave the home a neglected appearance and detracted from the comfort of our stay.While the property has potential, addressing these maintenance and cleanliness concerns would greatly enhance the guest experience. With proper upkeep and attention to detail, this rental could be a more inviting and enjoyable option for future visitors.
