About this farm stay rental

Located on over 2 acres in Rural NE Ohio in Mahoning County near Youngstown and less than 90 minutes from both Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Our home includes a mix of the old and the new. Built in 1899 the farmhouse has been newly remodeled to include three and half baths with beautifully tiled floors and modern bath fixtures to include a jetted tub, five foot walk in shower, and clawfoot tub. We have three bedrooms all with their own baths, fireplaces, Smart T.V., free WIFI. An outside deck provides extraordinary views of the winery and vineyards, hot tub, patio furniture, gas grill and gas fire pit for starlit, quiet relaxing evenings. On site massages can be scheduled for a couples or girls getaway. There are an abundance of things to do including two large recreational lakes nearby offering boating, water skiing, fishing and swimming with boat rental facilities available. Mill Creek Metro Parks has an abundance of hiking as well as bike rentals.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was super clean and beds were comfy. The place was so adorable with lots of character. Brenda was lightning responsive and nice. We can't wait to come again and visit the nearby vineyard.

This home was absolutely beautiful, clean and cozy! Loved all the fireplaces that porvided great warmth on the rainy nights. If i had to pick on anything, the kitchen cabinets were too high, but there is a step ladder there. I have to brag on the beds! The most comfortable beds i have EVER had on a trip! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great experience!

My friends and I needed a quiet place to chill for a weekend. The house is close to the road, but it isn’t very busy and private enough. The deck is nice, the fireplace is great for hangs, and the hot tub was a treat! We loved the interior fireplaces and the Google speaker. Everyone reported their bed was comfy!

The cottage is cozy and was ideal for our family, although 2 didn’t end up traveling to OH due to illness. The fireplaces were lovely and our hosts were great and fast with communications. Loved having the coffee option upstairs so when you wake-up coffee is a few steps away! :). Easy check-in & check-out. Would love to visit in spring or summer to see the backyard view of the winery in all its glory. Thank you Brenda for our stay.

It was perfect. We couldn’t ask for more. If you are reading this review to decide if the place will be right for your stay , know this, it is. You won’t be disappointed. The fireplaces in every room kept us warm. We didn’t need to use the kitchen for our weekend stay which is small but well equipped. The GPS brought us down a private road initially that was next to the property so look for the bed and breakfast sign. The house is really easy to get to. Barbera was quick to respond to our needs and queries. As a VRBO host myself, I appreciated her and her spot because it’s how I do it too. Good job Barbera!

The property was very nice-the hot tub got evening use, the wide outdoors became a great place for baseball with grandsons! The 10 minute drive from Lake Milton was simple and a nice separation for our part of the family reunion.

Perfect place to get away! House was clean. Beds provided a great night's rest. Listing was accurate and Brenda was a great host with prompt communication. Steps to second floor are a bit steep. Our friends raved about the massages they had. We rented a boat on Lake Milton for a day and took a day trip to Hartville.

Comfortable beds, hot tub, gas firepit, with a vineyard view! This place is so pretty and makes you feel like home. I loved the clawfoot bathtub, comfortable beds, hot tub, gas firepit, and the little amenities for us. Several of us had a massage that was so relaxing and very worth the price. It was so clean and pretty. The steps upstairs can be challenging for older people, but there is a master bedroom on the main floor. The kitchen is very small but efficient. Brenda even let me borrow a crockpot to use. The coffee pot has a carafe or pods for a single cup. We enjoyed the music from the winery on Fri and Sat. nights. There are many golf courses in close proximity. We visited the Olde Dutch Mill Golf Course and Salem Hills Golf course. They were both very nice. I suggest visiting Lanterman's Mill. There are a lot of antique stores around the area also. We enjoyed eating at the CHC Restaurant and Pizza. They give you a lot of good food at a great price. Udderly Sweet Treats was a good stop for ice cream.

Our experience was wonderful from the moment we booked until we left! My husband and I rented Brenda and Bob's beautiful farm house for a much needed weekend alone without any kids. Our plan was to just shut off from the busy world, and the house was absolutely perfect for just that! It was so peaceful, quiet, clean, and comfortable, and every room in the house was just beautifully put together. Brenda added so many extra touches to the home and for our guest experience. We truly feel blessed for finding their beautiful home in the perfect location, even for a cold weekend. We also really enjoyed some local antique shopping and great little local restaurants in the area! Oh, and definitely book massages - the masseuses came to the house and were incredible! We can't wait to come back and bring a few friends next time! Thank you for the memorable experience!!

We came on a pastors retreat and the house was perfect for sitting by the fire working a jigsaw puzzle. The owner was adjusting the hot tub balance but it was available when we wanted it. It has no canopy over it, but it has a great rack for towels and cell phones and a great view of the vineyard. The on site massages were very nice. The stairs to the second floor are ridiculously steep, but the rooms up there are fabulous and worth the climb. The kitchen is made for very tall people but it was more than adequate. The house has well water, but we appreciated the water dispenser with bottled water. Plus lots of fluffy towels and robes. A gas fireplace in every bedroom plus the living room, which we used a lot, plus a BBQ grill and gas fire pit on the patio. We had a little issue and the owners were very quick to respond, helpful and friendly. Check in and out were easy--a code to get in, and leave dishes in dishwasher and take out the trash on the way out. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!
