Large independent studio in private villa with garden, Swimming pool, Jacuzzi

Due a stressful period at work, we booked this property last-minute and it turned out to be the best holiday decision we’ve ever made. We were primarily looking for a property with good access to amenities, a bbq, away from the hustle and bustle and most importantly it needed to have a swimming pool. Nicole and Jean Louis’ home ticked all the boxes! We spent a total of a week here with our two children (5 and 3) and we all fell in love with it instantly. The hosts met us at the property and made sure we had everything we needed for the week, then left us to our own devices for the entire stay. We ventured out to the surrounding towns and villages which are picturesque and the people are really welcoming too! The Boulangerie in Cabris (Parmi Nous) is well worth a visit, though you need to get there early or you’ll miss out on all the good stuff. Grasse is a pretty town to wander around and we had some amazing charcuterie at Les Delicatesses de Grasse. Le fil du goût in Saint Vallier de Thiey was also superb! We went to a brilliant cove in Theole Sur Mer where our kids did their first ever snorkelling and would highly recommend a visit here over the densely packed sandy beaches near the big towns. Even though the whole area is amazing, our kids favourite place was the house with the pool which they would have honestly stayed in permanently if they could and these were the best days too! All in all, our holiday was absolutely perfect and we can’t wait to book again!

We spent 2 weeks at Nicole's property and had a lovely time! We had the outside garden area all to ourselves as Nicole and her husband closed that side of their house for maximum privacy. It was extremely peaceful and we enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and bbq which were just for us. The pretty village is a 5-minute walk and has a variety of restaurants and patisseries. A large supermarket and petrol station is also a 5-minute walk from the property. We drove into local villages and towns like Cabris, Grasse, Cannes and Nice so if you don't fancy lounging by the pool there is plenty to see nearby. The property is even nicer than in the photos and the studio has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only negative was the killer mosquitoes which are out in force all day but that was to be expected in the south of France! Nicole and her husband were great hosts and we would definitely return!

We received an extremely warm welcome from Jean-Louis and Nicole to begin a memorable week in the foothills of the Alps. The studio is a 5 minute walk to Saint Vallier where there are bars, restaurants and a weekly market. It is also within walking distance of an Intermarché (with a petrol station) which we found very convenient. The studio itself seems bigger on the inside than outside as the space has been used intelligently. It is clean, well-equipped has a comfortable bed and air-conditioning. Outside there is plenty of room to sunbathe but a canapé and large parasol provide ample shade if, like me, you struggle a bit in temperatures over 30! I have happy memories sitting around the pool sipping a cold beer and reading L'Equipe with the mountains providing a spectacular backdrop! Grasse is a 15 minute drive away. We spent a day there and also used the station there (free car park) to catch a train to Nice (10 euros return/1hr each way). For beach lovers it stops at Cannes, Antibes and Juan-les-Pins on the way and after Nice goes on to Monaco. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property. The week there reminded me why I love France so much!
