About this house rental
Your group will feel right at home in this house one block from the beach which was the old Rockaway Beach Train Depot. Come be a part of our charming town's history as you enjoy all that the north coast has to offer from your well-equipped cottage.
On the main floor there is a bedroom with king bed, a bedroom with a queen bed and a kids room with 2 sets of bunkbeds. In the loft (no privacy door) there is a queen bed.
We are walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants available in Rockaway Beach and the Oregon Coast Scenic Railway runs beside the home as well for any train enthusiasts.
After purchasing this duplex in 2021 we have been lovingly updating it as funds and time allows. One half of the duplex is our home and the other unit we have opened up to welcome guests who also love exploring the Oregon Coast and all it has to offer. We love the living in a piece of Rockaway history and have enjoyed learning more about our home from longtime Rockaway Beach residents.
The central location will allow you to explore the gorgeous Oregon Coastline to the north and south and return to a cozy home in the evening. We are happy to provide recommendations for beaches, hikes, restaurants and shopping.

The house was just what we expected and a great location. The hosts answered questions quickly before we booked and everything was in good shape when we arrived that we had no need to contact the host after arrival. The host was available for us and checked in (via vrbo mailbox) to make sure things were good.

When our family goes to the coast, the highest priority is easy of access to the beach. We were less than a 2 minute walk from the nearest access. The back patio has a hose for easy rinsing after we returned. Plenty of space for our family of 7. There are two full bathrooms and the loft has its own half bath, which was really nice. They were even nice enough to provide smores ingredients and roasting sticks. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely look to stay here again.
