My husband and I stayed at Taylor Made will six other couples. We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful with lots to do in and around McHenry. The guys played golf at three different courses (checked out a 4th but the weather didn't cooperate) and the ladies shopped and did some sightseeing. Swallow Falls is gorgeous, and the little towns are filled with places to visit. Glass blowing, open air market, plenty of food stores and places to make purchases. The restaurants we ate at were great - dinner at Aces Run and lunch/Sunday BINGO at Mountain State Brewing Company. The kitchen was well stocked; which enabled us to whip up culinary delights just like we were at home! Communication with the host was top notch - they were super responsive with our needs (which were few). Would recommend to anyone for a relaxing and fun getaway!

The house was as advertised. It comes with a dock slip which is great, but access to the dock seemed to be through the neighbors yard. Grill was kind of small for such a big house (and guests count) but it worked and we had adequate propane. The hot tub malfunctioned while we were there but the team was so responsive it was also fixed within a 24-hr period. Huge kitchen work space for cooking. Could have used a few more chairs for the dining room. A few tvs didn’t work. Dryer takes a very long time but so grateful to have the washer and dryer. Overall a great stay, just providing some specifics that we noticed in case it helps others.

The overall experience was positive. This was our 4th year at Deep creek with friends Nice area, beautiful view, spacious and open concept home.
The hot tub cover was broken and it never got really hot. Very disappointing since we choose houses with hot tubs. No pantry semi clean,very small bathrooms.
Would not stay here again bathrbabathrooms.considering we chouses
