The most amazing thing about this beautiful cottage, are the spectacular views from the lounge area of Glencoe across Loch Leven. It also shares a HUGE private field with the neighbouring cottage, across which is effectively a private loch "beach" access. My 13 year old would take his paddle board across the field daily down to the loch, and my dog loved running around the field, It's just a short joruney to Fort William (and Ben Nevis) - but you can trek up mountains from your doorstep if you prefer! It's spacious too - bigger than it looks on the photos. Plenty of room for my family of four and Viszla dog! A fantastic stay - thank you Mrs & Mrs McClean.

Although the road is very close, it is quite quiet. Breathtaking views of the mountains, the meadow and the weather.

It's one of those rare times when the cottage is even better than the picture. The view from the cottage is lovely. The cottage is clean and spacious with everything you need. The owners were great and check in was easy when we arrived. Cottages.com, however, were not so helpful or polite I'm afraid.

We really enjoyed our stay at Duart. The cottage was so cosy and had everything we needed. It was immaculately clean with really comfortable beds and the view from the lounge was stunning. It was ideal for the dog too as there was a traffic free walk down to the beach. Our hosts were really welcoming and easily available if we needed anything. While our weather was mixed we had a wonderful holiday and I would recommend this cottage highly

This is a lovely little cottage with a spectacular view and the Loch only a few minutes walk away. Is a beautiful shot to stay. The couple who own Duart were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had a problem with the dish washer that they had not previously been aware of and they replaced it with a brand new dish washer on the same day we reported it - in rural Scotland, amazing!!

The accommodation has fantastic views but is in need of some attention (peddle bin broken, kitchen roll holder broken, bedroom curtain ripped, dishwasher appeared to work but did not clean, clothes line but no pegs) relativity minor but annoying things. very hot as storage heater was on when we arrived and took two days to cool. No hot water on arrival and could not find any instructions.
