About this house rental
Family's property since 1899. It is fully restored and distributed over 2 floors. The kitchen is on the ground floor and the bathroom, the bedroom and the living room are on the first floor. The 2 floors are connected by stairs.
The bedroom, with 18 m2, has a queen size bed .
Our house is equipped with: cable tv, Wi-Fi, fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, hand blender, electric stove top, vacuum cleaner, air conditioning, fan and heater, iron and ironing board, washing machine, hairdryer and a boiler with 100 liters capacity
We will change your towels 2 times per week and the sheets 1 time per week.
This unit is located in the historical centre of the city, inside the city's walls, 400 meters from the Roman Temple, the Cathedral and the Municipal Museum and 600 meters from the Chapel of Bones.
Évora is also an excelent place to settle a base and visit the surrounding beautiful cities such as Monsaraz, Estremoz, Elvas, Vila Viçosa, Arraiolos (average distance: 50 km).

My wife and I have stayed in lots of VRBOs in numerous countries. Many have ben very nice and with gracious hosts. But our experience with Luís and Antónia, owners of this house was unique and unexpected. First, the house is wonderful and very well located. Those elements alone would merit a very positive review. But what was extraordinary was the welcome we received from Luís and Antónia. The met us at the house when we checked in an helped gave us lots of information about what to do and see in the area. They gave us a handwritten list of highlights about the area: towns, museums, sites, and restaurants to visit. This was all very much appreciated.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay with Luis and Antonia. They were exceptional hosts—the best in my many experiences with home rental services. They greeted us and provided us with marvellous recommendations for Evora and surrounding areas. They truly made our entire experience in the city outstanding. And the home? Beautiful, well-maintained, well equipped and spotless. Feel so fortunate to have stayed here and to have met Luis and Antonia.

The hosts, Antonia and Luis were there to greet us and tour the house. They provided a detailed, hand written map and suggestions of things to see and do, along with personal restaurant and cafe recommendations. Neat, squeaky clean, meticulous detail. Location was ideal. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Antonio & Luis are a delightful and extremely welcoming couple. They spent personal time with us and relayed wonderful details and history of Evora that added nuance to our stay. The apartments are beautiful and have every convenience in addition to being filled with artistic items and every creature comfort. I only wished we were staying longer and look forward to returning in the next several years. This couple obviously enjoys meeting and learning about their guests, which is special as most rentals nowadays are remote and leave lockbox or codes to enter. We loved them and their home away from home. Carol & Bill
