Our home was professionally decorated and it's very comfortably furnished. The master bedroom suite offers a private retreat after a hard day at play. There's a whirlpool for two and a private bath and every window offers views of mountains, trees or Lake Superior.
Bring your bikes or walking shoes — the Gitchi-Gami State Trail is just 1/4 mile down Ski Hill Road from our Lutsen home. Recently ranked No. 3 Best Recreational Trail in the 2026 USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards, this paved North Shore trail offers a beautiful way to enjoy Lake Superior views, with current sections leading toward Temperance River State Park and Cross River.
Lutsen's ski hills are just a mile up Ski Hill Road, you can see the ski runs from the master bedroom window. This is the best skiing in Midwest! Miles of scenic cross country Ski and snowmobile trails through Superior National Forest cross Ski Hill Road.
Hundreds of miles of spectacular hiking trails criss cross the forests and mountains. Mountain biking and horseback riding are available at the top of the hill. Kids of all ages will love the Alpine Slide just up the road. Ride the new 8 passenger Gondola to the top of Moose Mountain and have lunch on the deck of the chalet, it's a spectacular view! Golfers, Superior National Golf course offers 27 holes of beautiful scenery and challenging golf right across Ski Hill Road. Walk to the North Shore WInery across Lodge Lane.
Set in Superior National Forest with no buildings behind it, just lots of trees. You can also see Lake Superior 1/2 a mile away on the other side of Highway 61. Fabulous 3 season porch. There's a private fire ring to gather around for evenings under the stars and let me tell you, they are spectacular here. It's the ideal vacation home for families and friends. It’s a beautiful cabin, very clean and well kept, well stocked and very cozy! It was the perfect location for our Lutsen ski vacation as it was only a few minutes away. Also close to a great winery. We had everything we needed to make wonderful meals and relax by the fire in the evening! Highly recommend!

The host was very responsive and great to work with! Clean, beautiful, lots of pans, cooking utensils, etc. We’ll be back!
