About this house rental
Newly remodeled home at the base of Ski Hill Road in Lutsen. This home is made-to-order for people interested in the outdoor activities of the North Shore, just minutes to the Gitchi-Gami bike trail, snowmobile trail, Superior National Golf Course, Lutsen Ski Resort, cross-country skiing trails, mountain bike trails and the Superior Hiking Trail. That is why we call it Ski Hill Basecamp!
After your days of adventure, your family and friends can relax at this beautiful property, with spaces to gather together and room to spread out. The kitchen, BBQ grill, and dining area are perfect for eating in. In the summer months, the porch, dining deck, large yard and fire pit will keep the fun going. In the winter, enjoy the winter fire pit (weather permitting) or cuddle up on the deep, comfy couch for a fire and movie. The layout is 2 bedrooms (both with king beds) and 2 bathrooms on the main level, and 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the upper level.
While the immediate area is literally fulI of fun things to do (did we mention a gondola, alpine slide, and winery?), we are only 5 minutes to Oberg Loop, 15 minutes to both Temperance River and Cascade River State Parks, and 20 minutes to Grand Marais.
Please note that this home is located on Ski Hill Road close to Hiway 61. This provides unbeatable access to area destinations but does mean it is a less peaceful location. For security, the property has 1 exterior camera on the driveway and front door. We will gladly disarm the camera during your stay upon request.

Beautiful home, better than the pictures! We loved the screened porch. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Great central location for all activities on the north shore. Easy communication with owner. I’ve already recommended this place to several friends. Super clean, one of the best places we’ve rented on VRBO.

An amazing location and a beautiful home. Lots of attention to every detail. A well stocked kitchen with high end amenities! Beds were super comfy. Loved everything about this property!

As it turned out Father's Day weekend was the ideal time to spend with family. We did some hiking and other tourity activities. The house was great. I enjoyed coffee in the screen porch. Plenty of space for active boys to run off energy. A black visited Friday afternoon and we enjoyed watching from indoors. The weather was perfect.
