A visit to the resort town of Tenby would not be complete without a memorable boat trip to the island of Caldey, where visitors can share the serenity of the Cistercian monks, who have made this holy island home for hundreds of years. For a family day out, visit the awarding-winning leisure attractions of Oakwood, Heatherton and Folly Farm, all within a 20-minute drive. Outdoor activities at Llys-y-Frân Lake just 3¾ miles away include both water and land-based recreational fun including sailing, kayaking, canoeing stand up paddle and pedal boarding, cycling, Pump Skills Track, bike hire, axe and knife throwing, how to fire a crossbow or have a go at archery. Also Clerkenhill Adventure Farm and Frizbee Golf Course. The owners of this delightful property are dairy farmers nearby and offer guided tours of the farm to meet the animals and see where milk is produced (to be arranged directly with the owner). There is a lockable garden shed at the property for bikes and any other outdoor equipment that may need storing during your stay.
