The local pub was pleasant and hospitable
Our recent stay at this farm was extremely disappointing and far below expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was poor. After a long and exhausting journey, we were shocked when the host rudely refused to provide towels on the first day. Instead of being welcoming or accommodating, the interaction left us feeling like an inconvenience.
Throughout the stay, the host made no effort to check in and see if we had everything we needed. The only time they came by was to collect money for the towels — and even then, they didn’t bother to ask how our stay was going. There was no sense of care, professionalism, or basic courtesy.
The facilities also did not match what had been advertised. WiFi was listed as an included amenity, yet there was no WiFi service at all during our stay. Additionally, the property was advertised as having two bathrooms, but in reality there was only one bathroom and an awkward shower installed in the master bedroom. This was highly misleading.
Cleanliness was another major issue. The floors were dirty, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned before our arrival. On top of that, the tourist pamphlets provided were two years out of date, which only added to the sense that little attention is paid to maintaining standards.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and we would not recommend staying here. The only positive aspect of the area was a charming and welcoming local pub nearby, which thankfully offered a much warmer reception than our accommodation did.

Excellent rural setting well equipped cottages. Angela was an excellent host and the little ones enjoyed feeding the animals in the morning.
Only small gripe ....Wasn't clear to me that Sets of towels were not included - £5 per set in my opinion they should be included with the accomodation price we originally paid.

Loved our stay at David’s Organic Farm! The historic stone cottage was cozy, and the peaceful, quiet vibe was perfect for relaxing. Morning animal feeding was a joy! Highly recommend this peaceful retreat. Great for dogs as well, our Aussie had a good time.
All important sights and coastlines are easily reachable between 20-45 minutes by car.

Angela was a wonderful host. She took the time to talk to us about the history of the farm and to take my little boy (and other guests) to feed the animals in the morning. Great experience!
Although we knew the WiFi was outside the property this isn’t ideal, especially not having signal on the tv for rainy days/evenings.

It was peaceful the surroundings were stunning with the Bluebells out and fresh green leaves on the many trees I loved watching the woodpecker a regular visitor to the bird feeder outside our window.

Loved the location, so beautiful. Nice cosy cottage with all the facilities needed. Kids loved feeding the animals in the morning!
Only one problem we encountered was when opening the velux window in the bathroom so many flies came in and were bouncing around the bathroom, took us forever to get rid of them!

Fantastic farm to stay on. Definitely if have children they can go and feed the animals in the mornings we took our two young dogs with us first holiday with them. Lovely walks local and not far to walk to the dog friendly local pub too. Good pub good as well.
The hot water system decided to stop working on us on the last 2 days. Engineer came out to try and fix it but needed parts. We was not offered any alternative place to shower. We was lucky we didn't have children with us stopping.

Lovely family run farm. Friendly and caring throughout. The farm has plenty of walks and feeding the animals was great for the kids. A play area which was also great for the little ones. Cottage was comfy and homely.

lovely location, easy access to peninsular. Hosts took time to take children to the farm and let them feed the cows and chickens. Very nice cottage.
Shower wasn't working well when we were there. Limited reception and no wifi so it made it difficult to plan activities.

Lovely and clean. Bathroom looks immaculate, other areas look slightly dated.
I didn't feel as though it was dog friendly. I think £40 was quite a bit extra to pay for the dogs considering they are not allowed off leash, can't be left unsupervised and are not allowed on furniture. Can't really see what the extra cleaning cost would cover cause they can't really go anywhere or do anything.
We were also a bit disappointed to have to make our own bed considering we had to strip and tidy the apartment ourselves before leaving.

Amy was great and would immediately respond to any queries before arrival. The host Angela was very pleasant and the cottage was very pretty. Lovely greeting of daffodils in a vase and bucket with chocolate mice for Easter. My little girl was a big fan of the children’s tub chair a very cute touch! We will now be purchasing one of these for our own home. En-suite shower and sink in the main bedroom was a lovely touch, the shower was lovely. Children’s play area was lovely and safe. We were lucky with the weather, tried two different beaches Tenby and Saundersfoot which were lovely. Holiday cottage was very beautiful and clean with lovely Bio products. A very covid safe holiday all the correct procedures are in place. Overall we had a comfortable weekend away. I feel bad saying this as Angela was really lovely, but my honest opinion is I wouldn’t return and would save the extra money next time for Clydey farms, as there is a lot more going on down there. This farm has got the potential for so much more for families with the land it has if they wanted to they could make it just like Clydey cottages.
Thought there would be more animals for the children to see and more activities to participate in. Although the children’s play area was lovely and safe there was only ever my little girl in there, it was really quiet down there as there are not many holiday homes. This may not be a bad point for some people, but we are a very social family and my little girl being only child, she likes to make new friends and company whilst staying away. No signal or WiFi anywhere around the property. Very cold, although when mentioned to the host she immediately helped with this. The only downfall on the actual property is it could do with some new pillows and duvets the current ones are old and stained which isn’t very pleasant. Quite a drive to any amenities from this location.
