About this apartment rental
NOTRE DAME is a spacious one bedroom apartment with a breathtaking view of the main avenue of Nice, avenue Jean-Médecin.
Decorated in a modern style it will seduce you by the impression of opening the living room to the outside.
This apartment offers a retro side thanks to the different vintage photos of Nice and the nice collection of old cameras presented.
It is fully open to the outside with a large corner balcony skirting the kitchen, living room and bedroom.
Air conditioning and a free WIFI connection are provided. All the windows are double-glazed.
You will be located on the 6th and last floor (with elevator) with a splendid clear view on the city center of Nice. Part of the view also overlooks the architecture of Notre Dame Church just opposite.
"NOTRE DAME" has an exceptional location in the heart of Avenue Jean-Médecin which is the main shopping avenue of Nice. All the must-see places of the city are just a few steps from the apartment: the "Coulée Verte" (garden in the middle of the city), the Old Nice and its local specialties and the Promenade des Anglais and its numerous beaches.
The tramway allows you to reach the Promenade des Anglais and its beaches in a few minutes.
NOTRE DAME is laid out as follows:
BALCONY:
The balcony has 2 tables and outdoor chairs, so you can enjoy breakfast in the sun.
LIVING ROOM :
The very bright living room includes a comfortable corner sofa with direct view of the view. It is equipped with a large TV stand, a flat screen TV, a dining table that seats 4 people and air conditioning.
KITCHEN:
The semi open kitchen is equipped with all of the following: a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine.
The apartment also offers other amenities such as a washing machine and tumble dryer.
BATHROOM :
The modern bathroom has a large walk-in shower, a hairdryer, a towel holder and a toilet.
BEDROOM :
The room consists of a comfortable double bed with a thick high quality mattress of 20cm and a lot of practical storage.
Heating : Heating is collective and managed by the building. Start-up is scheduled for mid-November to mid-December. Shutdown is scheduled for mid-April. Start-up and shut-down dates depend on the local climate and the building manager.

Apartment was comfortable, well equipped and quiet despite being located in the center of Nice. Easy access to shopping, sites and the promenade. Nice outdoor space to enjoy morning coffee and evening wine.

The location is perfect, perched on the 6th floor overlooking Notre Dame church and the bustling life of Nice. In either direction is a convenient tram stop for exploring the city. Grocery shopping (if you like cooking vs going out) is a breeze with a large supermarket nearby and two outdoor fresh markets just a little further afield. Each has the freshest of ingredients. You can’t get better stocked utensil-wise with available pots, pans, casseroles and implements. Clean and tidy finish out the overall description. A definite repeat accommodation!
A couple of coffee pods to get one started, more than one kitchen towel (or a roll of paper towels), a few spices, better instructions on how to use the central heating system. This apartment offered a new washer and dryer, but instructions were for an older model. A technician was called and he arrived promptly - only to find the reason the washer didn’t work is that the water source was turned off. This should be clearly stated at the beginning of instructions.

The apartment is in a great location with a lovely view over the cathedral and main street, close to shops, cafes, train station and tram. Inside it was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for our 6 night stay. We also used the airport pick up service which dropped us at the apartment door which was very convenient especially with our luggage. Would happily stay again.

We enjoyed the location on the top floor of the building overlooking the cathedral. Handy tram stops to take you around Nice. Plus the train station is walking distance (Nice Ville). The apartment is as shown in the photos and well furnished. We found it a comfortable spot to come back to at the end of the day.
