About this house rental
Enjoy the sophisticated coastal elegance of this beautifully renovated Lowcountry home. Upon entering, you will be welcomed by the soaring two-story foyer leading to an open floor plan with high ceilings, a gourmet kitchen, and spacious living and dining areas. The floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light and offer gorgeous, expansive views of the Palmetto Dunes 11-mile lagoon system. This home offers single-level living, with four of the five bedrooms located on the main level and the large fifth bedroom just six steps up. Each of the five oversized bedrooms features a new ensuite bathroom. The outdoor living space is equally captivating, with ample room for lounging and dining in the huge screened porch and double-level deck. The large newly built pool and spa, with Baja ledge, overlook the lagoon, offering a perfect place to end your day and enjoy spectacular sunsets. With just a short walk or bike ride to the beach, this private and peaceful oasis is coastal living at its finest.

A perfect house and a perfect vacation. We spent Thanksgiving in the wonderful 8 Rum Row. The house was beautifully maintained and excellent for our multi generational family. We've rented for many years in Palmetto Dunes and this was by far the nicest house we've rented. And the view was breathtaking. We spent a lot of time on the gorgeous screen porch. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at 8 Rum Row. There was plenty of room for our family of 8 to relax, enjoy the yard, and cook. The home was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the bedrooms were sizable. The only negatives were that the cleaning crew was still working at 4:00 when we wanted to check in, which was slightly inconvenient. There was also very little available in the way of household items, so plan to bring or buy these things. We needed to purchase paper towels, spray cleaner for the kitchen, all cooking spices, oils, aluminum foil, etc. in many other properties these were provided.

This house is amazing!! There was 12 adults that stayed for the week. More than enough room to have family dinners at one table and your own privacy. House included the little extras like a waffle maker, 2 coffee pots, higher end pots/pans/baking utensils/ and a sharp knife set (I hate using dull knives when I cook). The house was very clean. Outside view of lagoon is beautiful and peaceful. Location to beach was a little bit of a hike on the way back but manageable.
